I have poor circulation and nerve damage in my legs and arms. I learned about dry brushing as a kid from my mom (this is genetic), so I finally broke down and bought my own now. Anyone that doesn't know how: brush your skin on your legs and arms back towards your heart. This improves circulation drastically and this in turn does everything from help your skin heal faster to helping it look smoother, healthier, and firmer. The practice is legit, and this brush is perfect for getting the job done. The massager is out of this world. It offers a deep massage which is perfect for boosting the abilities of the dry brush. The best part is the long handle enables you to massage your own neck, back, and shoulders. This brush is pretty much solid wood everywhere it possibly can be. The bristles are rough cut, but don't worry - they're actually SUPPOSED to be that way in these brushes. It doesn't reflect shoddy workmanship. It makes it better at stimulating your skin. Overall, though, this is very well made and I expect it to last for years to come. So far, it's improved circulation in me dramatically. Normal color has even returned and swelling happens less frequently. I'm also starting to regain nerve sensitivity in the parts of my body I thought the nerves were permanently gone in. I cannot recommend a brush like this highly enough to someone with circulation or nerve pain/numbness issues.

Hurts my skin

If you have sensitive skin this may not be the best choice for lymphatic massage. It left scratches on me and the round parts hurt. I use it lightly to exfoliate before shaving, it's great for that!

This brush is easy to use for exfoliation. It gets rid of your dry skin and isn’t too harsh or too soft, you can make it as scratchy as you want, or or as little as you want, just by changing the amount of force you use on it. I use it on my legs and arms before I shower at night, and then afterwards put my lotion on. When I wake up there is no dry skin.

I use this daily as I remember. Keep it next to your bed or shower to remind yourself. Soft yet firm. I will use gently or with more pressure as I need daily. Feels great overall.

I had this thing for about a week and the bristle portion came apart from th wooden handle piece. Total bummer because the quality of the individual components is definitely there, it’s just this marrying of the two that needs to be reevaluated. Now it’s almost dangerous to use because there are these tiny nails poking out. I had to pull them all with pliers after I tried repairing it. It had several of the little nails still in it so I set about hammering them back in but for some reason it just would catch/work. I think it’s because the nails are super small and buried within the bristles, so hard to hammer without one of those metal things that you hit with a hammer to put like machinery pins in to their various machines… ugh I’m sorry i know that sounds lame, but I don’t know what it’s called. Anyways, yah I was excited about the product thinking it was better quality than my last one which it is because it is lasting much longer, ughhh, I’m just mad that it came apart like that. I might try another and update this review because I feel that may have really been an outlier. We shall see… cheers!

Why has it taken me so long to start using a Drybrush? I didn’t mark that it was soft because it wasn’t and I don’t think it supposed to be soft it’s meant to be an exfoliator. I use it before I take a shower and it really has made a huge difference on the smoothness of my skin. I live in a cold climate and all the dead skin that is supposed to shed often just end up trapped against my body inside inside my clothes. The bristles are rough but it’s almost enjoyable And the results really make it worth it. The picture is a little misleading please know this is only one brush with a plastic massager thing on the other side. I’m not really sure what to do with the plastic massager thing but that’s OK the brush is great

Useful

The size of this brush is perfect and fits well into your hand. The bristles are rough but a good rough in the sense that it exfoliates well. It is very easy to use and you feel great after using it. Definitely a good deal!

The make is excellent,user friendly material and comfortable on skin....a worthy addition to my skin care kit. It is a great tool to use for lymphatic drainage routine. Comes with 2 attachments ....for dry brushing as well as massage. Love using it, would recommend surely.

I like

I used a loofah in the shower and then my sister told me how much bacteria is in the loofah and told me to get this brush and did. So this brush takes a bit of time to get use to its definitely not as smooth on the skin as a loofah and it probably took me a week or two to get use to it. But it does do a good job cleaning your skin and make it smooth I would have these little bumps on my arm and in the time frame I used this brush I notice that some of it has gone away. So if your looking for a alternative to the loofah get this.
