I purchased a few of the light brown, pictured. And then I ordered chocolate aswell. The light brown seemed waaay to light, but after I put them in I actually loved how it looked. The dreads seem well made they are light weight, they are a bit stiff but everything is when its brand new. Install was super easy, I just sectioned and braided them in using the dread is the 3rd strand. Tip, make sure the start of the braid is very snug or they will appear loose. I highly recommend these dreads. Some say to boil them for a less "plasticy" or shiny look, but I tried that with some and it didn't really make a different however I dont think they appear plasticy. 2 packs did my entire head with about 3-5 dreads to spare. I'm very happy with my purchase :) *updated* these dreads are still going strong after nearly a year of use, after I take them out I give them a good cleaning. And I trim flyaway on each one, they hav3 become very very soft and agile, this is the only brand that I will continue to use. I get compliments everywhere I go! So much so that I printed up some cards and have started installing on others. These dreads are awesome! Do not hesitate this brand!!

Listen! I love locs!! I use crochet braids as a protective style over my actual locs. I have been wearing crochet braids over my locs for over 2 years. I have been wearing crochet braids of some sort pretty much my whole life. Even back when they were those little thin ones and they were ugly. I say all that to say that these are the itchiest things I've ever experienced in my life!!!!!! I've heard that some hair is itchy so I actually thought ahead and soaked these locs in white vinegar for 2 hours. Still they were extremely stiff and ITCHY!!!!! Since I like my hair to be curly I then proceeded to dip and curl them to not only give them curl but to soften them. I had to dip them twice. They did soften a bit. But still felt itchy to the touch. I figured I can deal with it on my shoulders no big deal. I got my hair done on Sunday today is Tuesday night. I am ready to rip these out of my head immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I can't because I have an Afro Mermaid Convention/ Summit in Miami that I leave for tomorrow. I am going to be in Miami in hell because of this hair. I am not joking when I say I have never experienced anything like this in my life!!!!!! They are so itchy on my scalp it feels like my scalp is on fire from itchiness! It is so bad that I have taken Claritin just in case it's an allergy and some extra strength Tylenol. But still I am sitting here with my scalp itching. I have sprayed my scalp with my leave-in conditioner. It helps but it does not stop the extreme itchiness of this hair. Editing. Now today is Thursday. I am 100% sure sores are starting on my scalp. I cannot wait till I get home on Tuesday to take them out. Sunday after the last mermaid event these are coming out immediately! Something is seriously wrong with these I don't know if it's chemical or what?! I'm pissed off that I've wasted my money. Not just on the hair but paying my stylist to put this in I'm also going to have to have my hair redone again and pay her again and buy some other hair. Because the second I get back from vacation... I am cutting this crap the heck up out my head. Whoever made these needs to go back and figure out how to not make them itchy or stop making them. The colors are gorgeous! After my originally mid back length hair had shrunk to not even touching my neck dreads, I wanted to add extensions but didn’t want to commit to human hair dread extensions due to the cost. I ordered these and attached them to my existing dreads using the included crochet hook. They were easy to install and matched my lighter ends well. I did take the suggestion of others reviews and boiled them for a few minutes before installation and also soaked them in white vinegar for about 20 min just to make sure they were clean and free from any smells/residue/etc accrued from manufacturing and shipping. The included beads and adornments are pretty cheap and not the right diameter for use on dreadlocks but since it was an added extra I wasn’t concerned or disappointed. I ordered the “deep blonde” color. I have had them for about 2 weeks now and am happy with them so far. They have held up well though I wash often (every other day) and have tightened up a bit too. The installation points are still strong and shedding is notable but minimal. I did cut the ends off as I prefer blunted ends. After cutting them, I crocheted them to make sure they didn’t unravel. Now, I only plan to use these for a short time until I can purchase human hair extensions but in the mean time I am in no rush to switch them out. The only “con” to note is they can be a bit itchy but that is to be expected with synthetic material.

I bought these dreadlock extensions to hold me over + practice until I received some human hair custom dread extensions from an Etsy seller. Overall, I’m pleased with the product. ✨ Pros: - As far as value for money, these looked surprisingly good! - Easy to install once I got the hang of it (I used the braiding method, watched a few YouTube vids) - Gave me the look I was going for (I used to have natural dreadlocks for 6 years so this recreated the look I’ve been missing!) Cons: - A little too long for me, but product says 20in so I should have expected it - Pretty heavy, I used 3 packs to cover *almost* my whole head (I left loose hair at the top and to frame my face) - Not very comfortable, hair is obviously synthetic so not the softest, but again, I got what I paid for + what the product stated This is a good product if you’re curious about dreadlock extensions but don’t want to break the bank for high-quality ones yet. Also great for temporary wear such as costumes, special occasions, etc.

Chocolate brain is more auburn than anything else. You can see the difference in my photos. I have a darker brown color but it isn’t what I would classify simply as “dark brown” there are reddish tones. In the past I would typically box dye with a chocolate brown. I’ve since stopped dying and allowed the gray to show. Anyway, I ordered the dark brown now. Hopefully I don’t need black. We shall see. I don’t mind having a couple oddly colored dreads though. It looks ok. Plus I weaved in my actual hair into the extension to balance the color a bit more too. Other than the color discrepancy, these are pretty good quality. Very stiff at first but if you work them they relax. I have been slowly adding more dreads. I wasn’t sure if my work would allow me to keep them unless I could cover them up but so far so good. Hopefully I can get a whole lower half of dreads going without issue.

These are okay. They are easy to install. I like that they come with the tool that’s needed and some beads . The problem I have is with the end. When you’re in the sun it just looks like a tuft dog hair. I added a picture of the dreads next to my real hair. Not sure how to take care of the bottom to make it look presentable enough.

Long and soft and easy to install. Great color and looks super natural. Great size and they all are the same which is rare.

First off this makes my 3rd order lol! Make sure u research and learn before u buy dreads. So now that I know what to except from these synthetic dreads. Yes they are going to be hella stiff & itchy!! Boil some water and place these dreads in something to soak in the boiling water and add apple cider vinegar. Let them soak for about 30 mins. Them wash them like normal hair w/none residue shampoo. After place them in clean hot water w/ fabric softner. Leave them like this maybe 10 minutes or so, let air dry. The vinegar takes that waxy residue off for a more natural feel. If u think they separate any just do the maintenance and tighten them up. With these steps u can instantly see and feel the difference in them. Its going to take u a good month or more to get use to the roughness of these and its going to take a bit longer for them to get sofyer and more flexible. But if u are willing to deal the stiffness and itching for awhile these extension will not disappoint u. Just don't expect perfect dreads instantly. I have redone all of mine and only had them in a month now and because I have followed the steps before installing them has made for a better experience. Everyone seriously thinks all of my dreads are real, even when people touch them. Mine are 16 inches of real hair & 20 inches of fake. That's all bed head dreads so u can see perfectly that these extensions match great.
