Wimberley P-30 Arca-type Quick Release Plate

I bought a cheaper version of this plate and was immediately dubious about the build quality, not so much the plate itself, which was of course made of metal, and had safety stops included and anti-twist but the screw looked and was insufficient and I certainly didn't trust it with my 300mm 2.8.I ordered the Wimberley, kinda knowing that I would anyway, but was interested to see the difference in quality I suppose. Ordered on Sunday from the UK and it arrived today on a Saturday, 6 days later and way ahead of schedule!The difference in quality is obvious. The screw is so much better and feels like it was made for my lens foot, feels a lot more secure and there is no play. I can't see the plate ever moving.And it comes with a nice manual and additional screws.I've come to realise why Wimberley get 5 stars. Simply unsurpassable quality.

Very nice product but quite expensive.

Clear instructions. Very well made. If you paid money for your lens, don’t risk a cheap brand. Nikon 200-500mm
