Works and sounds great with a lot of features you wouldn't expect
I read the reviews carefully before making my decision to buy this. I needed a small stereo in my bedroom. I wanted CD particularly, but also bluetooth and radio. So far everything has worked great. It's a solid little piece of equipment that acts exactly like its bigger brothers. In a way it's kind of old school in that respect. And that's exactly what I wanted - something simple to operate. The sound? Really nice and full. Speakers sound great and with 50 watts it really cranks up. I've even taken to turning off the "x-bass", which brings up the fact that there are separate bass and treble controls, instead of preset e.q. settings. This is practically unheard of these days. Another feature you wouldn't expect, and one that drew me to the XLHF102B, is the RCA inputs in the back. A definite plus. I've checked out the bluetooth - works fine with my android, though I haven't really checked the range. Partnering is simple and no problem. The USB input plays my mp3's on flash drive with no problem. Computer CDR's with mp3's work fine. As do music CDR's. I should add the CD mechanism is solid and loads and ejects CD's with confidence. Radio reception is exceptional. The lower wattage college radio station I listen to comes in loud and clear. So... overall, and I've only had the unit a couple of weeks, I would say I am very pleased and can recommend it for someone who wants a compact stereo unit with exceptional sound and features that would be expected from another unit at a higher price.

Don't Waste Money on a Piece of Lonpoo, Buy This Sharp Stereo!
This is a quality mini component stereo! We made the mistake of buying a cheap Lonpoo brand stereo and ended up returning it. When the Sharp unit arrived I could already tell it was better before I took it out of the box because it weighed a lot more (better materials & bigger magnets in the speakers). Setting the unit up I could tell the Sharp was truly a mini component stereo, with speaker terminals, RCA line inputs, and even a subwoofer output! (No subwoofer included.) After setting it up I played a CD in both the Sharp and Lonpoo and the difference was night and day! The Sharp was...sharper? Clear crisp sound, good bass, it just sounded perfect out of the box. And it is UL Listed, which means it has been safety tested (the Lonpoo was not.) It even has an energy efficiency mark. The headphone jack in front is a rarity these days and works great (we use a bluetooth transmitter so my wife can listen to CDs on her wireless headphones.) Here's the good: - Great sound! - Classic looks - Fantastic white digital display - Full function remote - Headphone jack in front - USB & Line inputs in front - Subwoofer out - RCA input - Bluetooth input - FM and AM radio (both antennas included) - Compact size - UL Listed The bad: - Old school looks might turn off younger crowd - Not as cheap as other stereos, but worth every penny! Having tried the cheaper route, I am 100% satisfied with this Sharp stereo unit, it really is a quality unit.

Many Features Make It A Good Value
The Sharp XLHF102B has many nice features which are: Good Sound with separate Bass and Treble adjustments. Plays standard CD's and MP3 CD's. The AM and FM Stereo Radio has good sensitivity. The Bluetooth is easy to set up to play MP3's from a cell phone or other Bluetooth player. The USB Port nicely plays MP3 files from a Memory Stick. The Display will selectively display song Title, Artist, Album, file number being played, and number of files (up to 999). The track or file that was being played when the unit was shut off will resume when turned on, when the same CD, Bluetooth, or USB mode is selected to play. Playing CD tracks, CD MP3 files, Bluetooth MP3 files, and USB Memory Stick MP3 files can be Randomized. The not so nice features are: When playing back Randomized CD tracks, CD MP3 files, Bluetooth MP3 files or USB MP3 files and the unit is turned off and back on to resume, it's no longer in Randomize. Randomize must be selected again after the unit is turned on, and before Play is selected, or else the Randomization of tracks or files will start over. The unit will play files beyond 999, but the Display will show three asterisks instead of the file number. Now for the biggest negative: X-BASS is beyond a joke. Selecting it does nothing more than cut back on the treble. When X-BASS is enabled and you attempt to increase the treble, the X-BASS disables itself. X-BASE should have been named FAUX BASS. This unit has plenty of positive features. Just don't enable the X-BASS.

Perfect Little Stereo for Home or Office
Bought this for my dad back in early 2020 when he was put on hospice due to cancer. He wanted to be able to listen to his music. & since I have Amazon Music Unlimited, he was able to pick just about any song he wanted to hear & stream it via Bluetooth through this stereo. He passed just a little over a month later, but I still use this stereo for to listen to the songs he loved so much. It’s a great little stereo! The volume doesn’t exactly rattle the windows, but I don’t typically like to listen that loud anyway, so that doesn’t bother me at all. Overall, this is a quality stereo that sounds good & is compact, so it doesn’t take up a whole lot of space. Haven’t had a single issue in the 5½ years I’ve had it except it makes me miss my dad even more, but I don’t think it’ll have that same effect on you should you take my advice & buy it for yourself. Great value for the money & I would definitely recommend.

For a Sharp product I took a chance I prefer top name brands but this turned out to be one of the best machines I encountered to hook up with my TV, Blu-Ray and 8 Track Player. it plays well sounds well and overall has lasted me for a few years now if it ever goes I'll buy another one it just that great and easy to use I even hooked up bluetooth to my computer and the sound coming out from that is even great I give this 5* as well just an amazing small stereo the speakers are well sized and produce a high quality sound when you turn up the bass!!!

I’ve had this product for over a week and so far I am enjoying it. I like the sound as this was the major criteria for me when shopping for a music system. At 50 watts it gives me what I want. The bluetooth works fine, the cd player works fine. So far I don’t have anything negative to say about it except that for a system with only one cd loader I wish it was less expensive.

Great little unit with good sound. Purchased mostly for listening to AM talk shows and it did not disappoint.
