bought to use on a medical alert tag to replace the one furnished with the tag which would catch on clothes and hair there is no problem with this chain it is the same as what is furnished in the military and appears to be very strong. Also does not get tangled or knotted up while sleeping and does not get tangled in your hair appears to be of very good quality and is very comfortable you don't even know you are wearing it
