After updating the software, I was able to diagnose and repair multiple issues across my vehicles—things my old code reader simply couldn’t handle. Instead of guessing based on fault codes, I can now run real tests and make confident, accurate diagnoses. I got the MK900BT and so far it has been great. After running the software updates I have been able to diagnose and repair several of my vehicles for things that my old old code reader just wasn't up to. Having bi-directional control and the ability to read the modules in the vehicles allows me to test faults and make a real diagnosis rather than just throwing parts at the car based on a fault code. The Bluetooth dongle lets me take the tablet with me and test components in place without having to have another person with me. The battery life has been great, the screen is bright and clear, and I really like the hard case that has room for extra accessories. This is a great DIY level scan tool, and let's me get to the next level of keeping my families cars running well. It comes with a screen protector installed, charger, and case. I highly recommend it for the price, it gives you a ton of capability.

Got this scanner to replace ann old one I have and wow!!! Should have done this earlier! Not only did it meet my expectations it surpassed it! My neighbor replaces the battery in his BMW and I was able to reset the BMS for him! Definitely a great tool to have. For the money you can’t beat it! Super easy to use and great customer support!

Sale was very smooth and startup and initialization was easy. Customer service is outstanding-these folks really care about their customers! The screen is bright and large and I really like the wireless OBD2 plug so I can walk over to my bench with the scanner. The software is intuitive and easy to use and downloading updates is easy and fast. Very happy with purchase!

I have used this on 3 vehicles so far. And so far it has helped save me and friends a bit of money going to an auto shop. It will take you a little while to get used to where to find things and what is available to you. Once you get used to how it works it is definitely a good tool to have. It's not blazing fast but it's not slow either. So far it has had no problems to auto pull vin numbers, except on a 97 Chevy, but I think that is to be expected on an older vehicle. My favorite part is the live data. Without a doubt that alone is going to save me money and time.

Amazing product. At first I was skeptical about this purchase given the multiple scan tools on Amazon to choose from but I made the right decision with the MaxiCom MX900BT. Already I used it to scan a BMW 640i Gran Coupe and it has helped test and reset a door window sensor and zeroed in on a faulty rear brake sensor. The product was delivered promptly with all the items in a nice hard plastic case. The after sales service from Autel is also amazing. They reached out to me offering free technical assistance with the usage of the scan tool or with any fault on the car I am diagnosing. I would give the product a 10/10 but was limited to 5-stars rating.

I have had this scanner for about 5 months, but have only used it 5 or 6 times for code checking, data collecting, and performing cylinder cutouts. After the 4th use, the VCI kept loosing connection to the tablet and eventually it got hot and started to smell. I reached out to customer service and they provided step by step instructions on how to determine if the VCI was the issue. After completing the procedure, it was determined that the VCI was the problem and Autel shipped me a new one free of charge. With the new VCI, I was able to connect with the tablet and everything seems to work when connected to a vehicle. When performing a full vehicle scan, I have found codes in control units that never showed on other scanners I've used. The Auto VIN feature is really nice, and quick. I like the ability to link sessions to a repair order if needed, and being able to create a report is handy. The ability to add additional tools like a borescope or battery tester is pretty neat, and I hope to get those tools soon so that I can test them as well. One of my big hesitations when buying something like this online is support if something happens. At least with my experience, I would be comfortable buying more Autel equipment in the future. Overall, this tool isn't the cheapest, but does have a lot of features for a relatively low cost when compared to the more expensive options. Aside from my VCI issue, the scanner seems to be well built, has a nice weight to it, and the screen size makes it easy to see what I'm looking at.

This has been a great scanner. I have been using this as my primary scanner in the shop and it has already paid for itself multiple times! The Bluetooth connection is great for actively troubleshooting items under the hood or under the car while still being able watch the scanner. The subscription is significantly cheaper than any name brand tool and if you are using this to make even a little money on the side, it is well worth it.
