Seems to be accurate, definitely heavier wall glass than the original thermometer in my glassware set. Also, the numbers are bigger, so that's a bonus too. The printing survived hot ethanol, boiling water, and acetone, so that's better than some glassware I've used before.

If you need a long thermometer with a wide range that can probe deeper, this is perfect. It is a glass thermometer so care is required in use. It comes with a nice plastic holder that will last as long as the thermometer. It should last until it breaks or forever, whichever comes first.

The quality is pure garbage, it broke in half before could be used.

The item was broken in half when it arrived. The packaging wasn’t damaged, but the item was broken even with all the bubble wrapping.

My first order of these was great. Got what I ordered, but took a few weeks. This time I was shipped the wrong scale, and I had to return, now the returns are the same wrong thermometer that I returned.. Amazon should fix some of these issues before raising prime memberships.
