LOVE this fountain pen! I've had a few now and it's the same great quality each and every time. Writes so nicely, no ink blotches or spills, lasts a fairly decent amount of time and is lightweight to carry and write with. Definitely recommend!

Not a bad fountain pen, but a tad scratchy.

Unusually, I like to write words with a fountain pen and have used one for years, it can get a bit messy at times when trying to refill the ink chamber I know, but that's half the fun of it I reckon. Anyway, I saw this whilst looking on Amazon for a new pen and decided to buy it (£1.89) just to see what it was like. Well, whack me with an empty quink bottle, it is a great little pen that's sealed so it needs no re-filling, it writes like a dream, (it even writes left-handed, which I am) and it will write for a mile and a quarter (I don't do metric) before it runs out of puff, sorry I mean ink, then you dispose of it properly and buy another one. The nib works well and doesn't drag (depending on the paper quality) no replacement cartridges or bottles of ink need to be bought ever again, and you don't end up with ink-stained fingers any more whilst attempting to refill a conventional fountain pen. I'm not sure if these pens will become popular, because people are using digital methods to communicate more than ever these days, or there'll just remain a novelty item, who knows. I, on the other hand will buy one of these pens again because of their ease of use though a traditional, well made quality refillable, inky fingers fountain pen will always be my favourite writing tool.

"Fountain pen" is loosely used. The nib is just shaped like a fountain pen. There is no change in line thickness when you press down, and can write no matter which way its facing. It writes nicely as just a normal pen but if you're expecting to write pretty lettering or anything you'll have no more luck than with a normal pen. The pen itself is a great price, nicer than most pens you'll find online for that price and it flows nicely. Definitely not an actual fountain pen though.
