I like to read about the research regarding a supplement before I buy it. The research on Magnolia Bark is very interesting. Research has shown that magnolia bark is as effective a benzodiazepines are that your doctor would prescribe to you for anxiety. Benzodiazepines are highly addictive and have other harmful side effects. Magnolia Bark, on the other hand, is just as effective, but is not addictive, and causes no withdrawal symptoms if you stop using it. In addition, magnolia bark has several positive side effects, like weight loss, helps with depression (benzodiazepines can cause depression), and is full of valuable antioxidants. It can also help with pain management. I could find no bad effects for magnolia bark. I have used benzodiazepines before. They are a lot like alcohol; they get you drunk very similarly. My experience with Magnolia bark has been very different. Magnolia bark is much more gentle and does not cause me to feel drunk at all. Its effect is much lighter. It is considered a sleep aid, but it does not knock me out at all. It is just as good to take during the day while at work or spending time with family or friends. I much prefer Magnolia bark over benzodiazepines, with really hindered my social life and work performance.

I put this in a capsule and took it before bed with my magnesium glycinate and ashwagandha. I was doing research to find ways to help with my PMS and sleep, this herb was recommended. It truly helped me fall asleep, stay asleep, and have good dreams. This does need to be taken with a fat. I take a spoon full of sesame oil or olive oil. Mrs. Jeremy Bevans

It's really not helpful when the images don't show that the product contains dextrin. If I had known I would not have purchased this.

This is truly the worst tasting supplement I have ever used. That said, it does seem to have a calming and soothing impact. Just brace yourself for the taste!

I filled gelatin capsules with this powder and been taking it in the morning with breakfast. I have been struggling with anxiety and major depression and since I have started using this product, magnolia bark extract, my symptoms have improved. After further research I have learned that this supplement has been used as an ancient holistic remedy for multiple physical aliments as well. The powder itself appears pure without any fillers or bits of anything, it's appearance is a brown, fine powder. I am very happy with the quality, value, and effectiveness or this product. I will buy again.

I had ordered Bulk Supplements' Magnolia because their product contained no fillers. Unfortunately the Magnolia I received has Dextrin as an ingredient.

Got this for anxiety and as a sleep aid before bed. Does it work? For sleep I noticed a difference even though I hadn't taken it too long but for anxiety I would assume it will take weeks or months to see an effect, however I have very sever anxiety and depressive symptoms. I think the effect would be more pronounced in healthier individuals. Bonus is that it seems to be great for oral health and I've definitey seen a difference there!

Very happy with this product. I was taking Estroven mood, but no longer needed the other ingredients. I take only about 1/3 the recommended dosage, but it works great! Dissolves well in a hot beverage, but the taste is hard to disguise. I'm going to order empty capsules and dose it out in them to avoid the taste, I think. I also noticed better sleep.
