Brake ThermoQuiet QC1089 Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set

Needed to replace a full set of brake pads and rotors on my 2008 Honda CR-V. A friend of mine suggested Wagner products and I'm glad he did. Brakes perform flawlessly. Plus, they were reasonably priced.

The clips had to be bent slightly to get them around the rotor. Other than this, the brakes were a perfect fit. Several weeks in and these brakes have been extremely quiet and stop well.

Installed on a 2010 Honda Crv EX-L. No issues so far. Brake hardware fit great. Often on brake jobs the brake hardware is not precise and I'll reuse original hardware, not on these. Hopefully, they are quiet and low dust.

Bought these Wagner TQ QC1089 brake pads to replace the same part number purchased about 10 years and 75k miles ago for our Honda Odyssey. Installed them per the instructions on Wagner’s website and put on new rotors for a complete brake job. Performed the bedding in procedure exactly as prescribed by Wagner. Driving normally after that, there was an awful judder (as the tech’s call it) or low frequency growl when slowing down from 45 to 10 MPH using both normal and moderate braking. There were also annoying squeaks when almost to a stop. Tried for a couple of days hoping things would improve but no luck. Finally decided these pads were unacceptable. Next, removed the Wagner pads and replaced with Raybestos. A significant improvement, only a slight judder with moderate braking around 40 MPH, and no judder at all with normal breaking at any speed, and no squeaks. After much research I’ve found that judder is a common problem. Newer brake pads are not the same formulation as the previous ones due to environmental concerns. Older Odyssey’s are notorious for brake problems, so in all fairness I’ll give these pads 3 stars as the Wagner pads may work better on a different vehicle. Note that many aftermarket pads (including these) now require grinding a little off the backing plate tabs in order to fit into the caliper. In my case I had to take about 0.020” off each end to match the OEM measurements. Never had to do this years back. My recommendation is spend more and get the OEM pads.

2005 Odyssey, New Front rotors and pads are a piece of cake. These pads are great, they grab well, last well, and don't squeak or squeal. Bonus#1 - This package came with new clips, which my previous pads did not include. Bonus#2 - The price was cheaper than at the auto parts stores, even with coupons or rebates. When it's time to do brakes, I always replace the pads and rotors, for less than a mechanic would charge for just the pads. Change them a little bit early, before other parts start to fail; then it's an easy DIY job.

Pads and clips both fit perfectly in 2010 Odyssey. Initial driving experience was fine. And they're quiet so far. ... Follow up - I have had them in for few weeks. The felt a bit soft at first but after a few days of driving they seemed to break in and now feel just like the oem pads that they replaced. I'm happy with them.

finally got to install these brake pads on my cr-v! they fit perfectly and i notice the braking power when in use. they feel better then the original pads that came with the car. highly recommended if your looking for brake pads
