Awesome on-ear headset for an awesome price!
I purchased this for $15 and it's great. Quality is good, sound is great, and it looks good. I prefer the single ear cord rather than one to each side. This just makes it look cleaner and have less wiring around you, in my opinion. The Flux series lets you switch pieces back and forth. You can also swap pieces from other Flux headsets. Microphone is okay, but not spectacular. I use these as every day headphones. Keep in mind that they are small and fit ON-EAR. Some people prefer over-ear. That may be a turnoff, but I'm happy with them. Bass is good, but seems to be geared more towards lower registers than highs, but that is the case with most headphones. I would (and have) purchased multiple sets for future use as I am assuming the cheap price is to get rid of old stock. Grab them while you can!

Quality and Versatility
It looks so cheap in the pictures. I did not realize how much detail is there until I started playing around with it. The earcups rotate, swivel, you can collapse the headphones and even connect the chord to either of the sides. The earcup covers are magnetic and can be removed easily for customization. The headband is mad of soft rubber with a hard core to support. Even without explicit cushioning it feels great. Now the sound! I never liked on ear headphones thinking they won't deliver a good all around balanced sound with decent bass. I was blown away. These sound so good, I use them for music production. And did I mention the cable integrated mic with mute switch? I love this thing, and for $12-13 I got them for, an absolute must have.

Poorly Designed - Even For Their Price Point - Migraine Inducing
People that are giving these headphones 5 stars don't know that much about audio equipment. The sound of these pair are alright, the initial retail price is atrocious, and the sound quality doesn't back it up in the very least. I can't have these on for more than an hour or two because my head begins aching from the pain. All of it is made with cheap hard rubber and it puts immense pressure as it's not balanced out properly. I didn't except good quality headphones from steel series, or ones that would rival my Sennheiser 800D's (Out for maintenance)- them being THIS bad I did not expect. I wouldn't take these for free, they're that uncomfortable.

Nice design, good sound, and inexpensive for a gaming headset.
- I just want to note that when you first open the box, you might notice the headphones look a bit dirty. This is due to the packaging and can easily be wiped off. I purchased this headset to go with my new PC, as my old set was a pair of Skullcandy headphones I picked up at an outlet store. I wasn't sure how they would compare to my old headphones, but I was pleased to learn they were a major improvement. They're a beautiful set of headphones and I love that they fold up. This is my first pair of SteelSeries headphones and they're probably the best pair of inexpensive headphones I've purchased. The design is nice and they're easy to store. The sound quality is excellent and considering they're a gaming set, they excel in video games. They work just fine for listening to music or watching videos, but sound superb in games. I tried these out in a few different MMOs. Some games I preferred to play without the sound or music, due to the fact that the sounds became an annoyance rather than a satisfying accompaniment to the gameplay. With this headset, I've been enabling sound in all of my games. There's just something about them that makes the sound more immersive and satisfying. The microphone works fine and took me a bit to configure. My computer's mic volume was turned far too low and so my initial testing was frustrating and my voice was so faint that I feared it was the mic, but it wasn't. I've never used a headset with this sort of microphone setup, so this is new for me. The headset is a bit tight, but I think most headsets I've owned were this tight at first and took some time to adjust. Even if you're not a fan of Guild Wars 2, the headphones are a nice investment. I'm considering buying a second pair as backup and a third to give as a gift.

Awesome headset.
The looks of the headset is as good as it was advertised. Although the headset is not strong on the bass, it produces all other ranges of sound very clearly. However, the headset was not as comfortable as I expected. The headset did not fit very comfortably on my right ear. Bear in mind that putting on the headset continuously for a few hours will cause your outer ears to hurt, like most other headsets. The microphone also delivers decent to good quality, although the problem is the mic isn't near to your mouth; finding a clip of your own would solve the problem. Overall, I'm satisfied! Worth its price.

These headphones have very good sound, build quality and feel comfortable
These headphones have very good sound, build quality and feel comfortable. The sound quality at this price point seems like a bargain thus far. The adjustment on the main headpiece takes a little bit of patience, but if gives you the flexibility to make these fit the way you want (Huge plus if you like to wear your headsets a little forward on your head). They are a little on the heavy side, but they also don't feel like they'll break if I sit/step on them.

so after reading some reviews I hoped it would be comfortable and have a good soundproof
The catch for me was the style of it, so after reading some reviews I hoped it would be comfortable and have a good soundproof. Neither was present. It's my first high quality on-ear headset, so I hoped for something better that my previous 5$ headset. Soundproofing is around 30-40%% and it's a bit painful on my ears, but that's because of glasses, I guess. I guess I should've bought over the ear headphones...

Not bad, but I won't be using them much longer
They sound fine and the mic is okay. I previously had a Turtle Beach Earforce X12 and that headset blows this one out of the water. Granted I picked this one up on sale for about $20 less, that isn't enough of a difference to not immediately notice the shortcomings here. The in-line controls part was not completely clear to me, thus leading to disappointment when I found that there was no volume control on the headset. This means that adjustment on the fly is impossible. As someone who uses different sound cards, that can be very frustrating. I have to go into the mixer and change it from there making this quite an inconvenience. For what retails for $100, originally, I expected a bit more. The build quality is incredibly solid, but you can tell that it is very plastic. Them being foldable might be the only that saves them in the case of a fall. The ability to plug into either side is very convenient. They look excellent, though. I have an NZXT Phantom case that is white with black and red accents. Even though I don't play GW2 anymore (only lasted two months before boredom took over), this headset matches and looks terrific. They are comfy, but after a while (3 - 5 hours) they become a bit uncomfortable. I normally prefer headsets that go entirely around the ear, but took a shot on these because people said they were very comfy. Don't get me wrong, they are fine for a bit. Extended gameplay sessions might require a different headset. I'm just going to get another pair of Turtle Beach... the same kind I had before. These were a fine headset, but not for me. I will hand them down to my wife who will just use them for music or keep them for my son, who original snapped the earcup off of my last headset. They get 3 stars for looking gorgeous, sounding good and being exactly what they were marketed as.
