I was pleasantly surprised by this little stove. This unit is extremely well made, sturdy, stable, heavy enough, and comes with a nice well made nylon pouch with snap closure to keep it all safely stored in your backpack. The pouch has two straps on the back so you can also strap it on your belt or secure it to the outside of your backpack. Took me about 30 seconds to assemble it, and less than that to disassemble it and store it away. I was debating between this and the Bushcraft XL, which is bigger, and just folds closed and open, but for my budget, this was a no brainer. In the end I just couldn't justify the extra $63 for the convenience of a folding stove.

Can’t believe the quality of this stove for the price it is a little heavy but ok with that. Unbelievable value. Would highly recommend this stove.

Smaller than expected but extremely sturdy and light weight. Great product if you need to start a fire and it has been raining for a few days and you need to keep it up off the ground.

The stove keeps the heat very well it is very light weight and very easy to build.

This is a great item. It rivals stoves twice it's price. It is very sturdy, and can hold large heavy pots such as dutch ovens. I'm surprised that I'm the first to review this item. I'm not sure how you could be disappointed with this, knowing that it's a small wood-burning stove. And only five sturdy pieces.

piccolo, leggero e non ingombrante riposto nella sua taschina in cordura. una volta montato rimane molto stabile e funziona bene. per quello che costa, il poco ingombro e peso è un accessorio che puo' restare nello zaino in qualsiasi situazione.

Se ha convertido en un utensilio imprescindible en mi mochila. Cinco piezas fáciles de ensamblar y que una vez encajadas aportan fiabilidad al conjunto. Se sirven con una bolsa muy útil y de buena calidad para guarda todo una vez utilizado. Recomiendo su compra.

obwohl ich persönlich die knapp eur 24,00 welche ich für den hobo bezahlt habe immer noch für relativ teuer halte (ist ja doch nur etwas metall....) muss ich sagen dass ich doch sehr begeistert bin von dem teil. ist ab sofort immer im rucksack dabei und ich freue mich auf den ersten einsatz. ich werde dann berichten wie die brennleistung usw. ist. denke aber aufgrund der konstruktion dass dies auf jeden fall gut klappen müsste. verwende ihn erstmal nur in verbindung mit einem trangia kocher. lässt sich einfach und schnell zusammenbauen bzw. abbauen. ende jänner 2015 muss er sich beweisen bei einer 2 tägigen bergtour! die mitgeliefterte tasche ist auch sehr hochwertig und lässt sich auch an einem gürtel oder so befestigen (was ich aber nicht vorhabe). erster eindruck: sensationell! qualtiät hervorragend (schön verarbeitet, logo gefällt mir auch sehr gut) soooo: habe den kocher nunmehr 3 mal ausgetestet. 1 x mit trangia kocher. funzt! etwas russbildung am topf aber tip top. 2 mal mit holz getestet, 1 x bei einer schneeschuhtour mit "nassem" holz. selbst das funzt perfekt. es gab bohnen mit speck, kartoffelsuppe, für die bratwürste hatte ich schon genug gegessen... ;-) man muss schon immer wieder mal pusten um das feuer bei laune zu halten und aufgrund des kleinen brennraumes immer wieder mal holz nachlegen, sprich das feuer will schon ordentlich unterhalten werden, aber mir persönlich macht dies spass und ist ja auch bauartbedingt gar nicht anders möglich. es gibt aber einen tollen kamineffekt und verzogen hat sich das metall auch kein bisschen. ganz im gegenteil, je öfters ich den kocher zusammen und auseinanderbaue desto "leichter" geht es von der hand und es spießt sich kein bisschen mehr. eine frage an alle: wie reinigt ihr den kocher (mit welchen mittel bekommt man den ruß wieder richtig ab und vor allem mit wenig mühe?)? mit stahlwolle sowie spülmittel ist schon etwas aufwand nötig den kocher wieder vom ruß zu befreien zu können. ganz sauber habe ich ihn ohnehin nicht mehr bekommen...... aber das stört eigentlich nicht wirklich. würde immer noch 5 sterne vergeben und der kocher wird sicher noch oft im einsatz sein!

The weather here (Malta) tends to be rather windy so I was glad to find that it was heavy enough to be steady on whatever you set it on yet light enough to throw in a day-bag. Some designs tend to sacrifice stability for weight; this is a happy and steady balance between the two. Simple and quick to set up, clean and pack up. Burns anything; pine resin, hard woods, soft wood, waxed cotton balls, alcohol (in a separate container). Very happy with the purchase.
