Absorbent, no drips after prepping. Sized right
I bought these for my 13 month old. I purchased the 12-18 month size and they fit “just right”. The leg holes do fit slightly tight around the leg but I see that as being necessary to keep pee from just spilling out the leg hole. Many reviews comment that these are not absorbent, do not expect them to be absorbent right out of the package, just like cloth diapers they need to go through “prepping” (Washing and drying a few times) before they reach full absorbency. That being said, these aren’t meant to be a diaper and hold a ton of pee. They will keep clothes dry for the most part, the outside is always dry but usually the leg hems have soaked up some of the moisture so they are slightly damp, but pee does not drip out. These trainers have met my expectations, they are not a diaper so I did not expect them to hold multiple accidents. I was pleasantly surprised how well they actually held in an accident without dripping out.Other reviews mentioned that the rise is too high and awkward. The rise did shrink a bit after washing, but is still at the belly button. This isn’t an issue for me because I’d rather have more coverage and a secure fit than a low rise. Once my child is past early potty training and having less accidents I’ll opt for a lower rise unpadded underwear.Edit: I wanted to add a picture of how nicely the padding in these quilted up after several washes. Looks like an absorbent cloth diaper but is not bulky like a diaper.

Sizing is inconsistent
This set of 5 training pants all had tags reading size 4T, but two are clearly smaller than the others, comparable to the Gerber size 2T we are replacing. They have a quilted absorbent layer in the crotch and do seem to be waterproof.

Wish I had these with our first!
We love these! These exceeded my expectations. On the inside they quilt nicely just like our cloth diapers and they are so soft on the inside and the out.We are using these with our 12 month old and it is so wonderful to have this option for when he is really resisting diapers. It’s making early toilet training much more feasible then it was with our first. When we first bought them they leaked a few times. I realized they were leaking because they were a bit too big for him. But now that he’s grown a bit and they fit him well we haven’t had any more leaks.Things to consider:1) These are not diapers, they are training pants. That means they are not fully waterproof. They will save the headache of a mess on the floor but your child will need to change soon after the accident because the pants do soak through.2) I wash these with our diapers because I want them to be thoroughly cleaned since he has had both kinds of accidents in them. This makes it very easy for us to include them in our laundry routine since I just toss them in the diaper pail. If you don’t do diaper laundry consider that you may want to do a quick hand wash if there are accidents. Just consider how you will manage that kind of laundry before you buy.Highly recommended! We even bought another pack!

These are great!
These are fantastic. Bought several sets in different sizes. Didn't need to buy pullup diapers at all since I had these. Comfortable, dry quickly even with hanging up to dry, and absorb enough that during potty training that all I would have to do I change the underwear or underwear and pants during potty training leaks. Really appreciate the solid colors so I can use it for boys or girls. Highly recommend

Not waterproof
These are cute but they are not waterproof as advertised in the heading. We're in a process of transitioning and potty training my daughter and I thought these would hold up because it's advertised as waterproof and they seem like a good price for 5 undies. My daughter tells me when she needs to go but accidents happen and when she did pee some in the undie it didnt quite hold as I thought it would and it leaked and dripped out. Quality is good though but definitely for a child who is WELL potty trained but by that time a WELL trained child won't need these undies. Just my thought. The fit also around the legs are a bit tight. Not sure if it was because I put them in the dryer. My daughter is almost 2 and I started training her at 23 months and shes been doing well, but afraid to let her use these now as they dont really hold.

Very absorbent
I was having a hard time potting training my 3 year old son. I have two older girls and it was a breeze to train them. This time it was getting so frustrating cleaning up all the mess made by accidents. I had been using Pull Ups for a long time but they were just making the process longer as they feel like diapers to the kid. I tried many training pants with his favorite characters but he still had accidents and it was messy. These underwear really helped as they make the child feel the wetness unlike a Pull Up but at the same time they prevent mess as they are quite absorbent. I would just recommend washing them as soon as possible in case of an accident, otherwise the smell is hard to get rid of. Thankfully, my son is trained now and I owe a lot to these training pants.

Toddler training
My daughter has been wearing these for potty training in case she has an accident so she doesn’t accidentally pee on the couch or anywhere else in the house. These are very soft and she seems comfortable in them. They work great! They have washed really well and are very nice quality. I have recommended them to a few of my friends for their toddlers too! I think these will be great for when she is trained and can wear them at night for possible accidents. They feel and look just like underwear. The lining reminds me of the soft quilted layer of washable liners for diaper changing pads. Great product!
