1 Cup Adjust-A-Cup, Plastic, White

Just like the one my mother used from 1960-1990. I love this for measuring out mayonnaise, sour cream, catsup, honey, ricotta cheese - any ingredient that sticks to the sides of a typical measuring cup and is difficult to spoon out completely. This is my second one - the first one I have had for at least 30 years and is still being used elsewhere! Excellent design, easy to read, and works like a champ!

Bought as a gift. The recipient very pleased. Very handy when a recipe requires peanut butter, like novak cookies ! Easy to fill up the measuring cup, then just push out the peanut butter. It’s easy to use and clean up is easier too!

I have purchased this brand 2 previous times here on Amazon. This time, I chose the 1 Cup measuring system due to the quick shipping as I was visiting a friend and we were baking together. I needed this push- up measuring cup for peanut butter and honey quickly. SUCH A WRONG CHOICE!!!!! I would NOT recommend this item to anyone. You really need the extra stability the 2 Cup system provides PLUS, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, you need that full, smooth silicone surface of the push-up seal. Please compare the 2 products. Notice that on the 2 Cup system, the black silicone piece on the surface fully covers the bottom of the measuring cup as you adjust the depth of the measuring level. On the 1 Cup system, you only have a thin silicone ring to hold that seal for removing your ingredient from the container. This thin silicone ring 1.) does not offer a stable seal as it naturally wiggles as you are pushing out your ingredient, 2.) allows the ingredient to move under the ring so that you do not get it all, especially sticky or slightly more liquid ingredients (ie oily peanut butter, honey, EVOO, jelly, etc), and 3.) increases the opportunity for cross-contamination by allowing ingredients to slip beneath it being hidden beneath it. In addition, there is embossed printing on the white plastic surface of the cup which makes it more difficult to fully remove ingredients thoroughly as it would need to be hand-washed between ingredients during a multi-recipe baking session. When measuring a 1 Cup ingredient, the clear outer sleeve of this measuring device has to be raised to nearly being off of the base making it extremely unstable and slightly inaccurate in measurements. Please, DO NOT purchase the 1 Cup system. As I do own the 2 Cup system, and gave gifted the 2 Cup system to others, I would most definitely suggest that you purchase the 2 Cup system of this very same brand of wet/dry measuring system. Thank me later😉

This is so handy. I have a couple of this type measuring cup. I have recipes that have both peanut butter & corn syrup, this makes my recipe so much easier to make.
