The single-elementdesign significantly reduces weight compared to other wide attachments using three or four lens elements, a critical advantage for camera operators shooting handheld. The EXII 0.6X increases wide-angle coverage by 40%, a must for shooters operating in tight quarters. In designing the wide attachment, 16x9 Inc. paid particular attention to minimizing barrel distortion. All single-lens elements have very limited zooming capabilities, however, the EXII 0.6X makes partial zooming possible with cameras that have auto focus capability.
