These plugs are well built from good material. They are of an appropriate size that suits the back terminal connections for speakers. However, these are not screwed types, rather the driver cables have to be soldered at the openings of the plugs. Once soldered, they can easily secured to the back of the speaker crossover board with the supplied washer/nut. The banana plug receptors provide a stable connection with a typical banana plug with a distinctive click. These plugs provide a great value for improving older speaker terminals. If these are being considered for an amplifier output connections, the process may be possible but would be more difficult seeing that the terminal protrusion in the rear is quite short. These are better suited for speaker inputs.

Don't Buy These! 1) the socket is about 2/3 as deep as the standard banana plu. So the plug will not fit properly. To get than to go that far, I had to clear the burrs on the hole for a wire if uses as a binding post. Not to standards and the machining was like the holes were just punched out. Prro quality. 2) in installing it with hopes it might work, I installed it in the hole I had for it and used a nut driver to snug it up. The screw that goes through the hole broke right off! Not even tight with a tiny wrench, just a small nutdriver. Barely tight. SIMPLY A PORLY DESIGNED AND POOLY MADE PRODUCT ALL THE WAY AROUND.

They do the job. The male slide piece is real thin but works. Keep expectations in check and you’ll be fine.

Threads on post and nut strip very easily. It wasn't tight enough to keep the post was from spinning before the threads gave out.

Feel a little cheap. Added some washers for More stability. Banana plugs are loose when plugged in. Would probably not purchase again, but in this instance, they will be fine for my needs.

Was looking for a replacement part for a name brand speaker, did a lot of googling and found this one. If is not exactly the same as the broken piece (2-3 mm shorter base post), but banana plug fits perfectly and the base post is the diameter I needed and long enough to fit in the speaker back wall. The part was delivered in a couple of days, replacement went smoothly. Worked great for my sound system!

Good product but of note the post only just makes its through 1/2inch MDF speaker case. If it was any thicker these would not be able to have the backing affixed.
