Review: A perfect daily companion - I don’t understand how this isn’t a 5 star product. $15 for an extremely accurate time piece that is easy to read and disappears on the wrist — so light, comfortable, and low profile. Elegant and simple, no-nonsense face. I hope Casio never stops making this gem. Keep in mind the dimensions of the watch. I have a 6.75” wrist and it looks *just* right. Any larger wrist circumference might need to size up to a Swatch Twice Again for a similar vibe. Overall I see this taking up a lot of wrist time in my rotation. It’s definitely a relief from my heavy mechanical pieces. Review: Simple and Accurate - I don't normally write online reviews, but I will do it for this product. While going digitally minimal, I needed a watch to keep track of time without looking at my phone. This is perfect for just that. The size of the face was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but the wrist strap fits comfortably with plenty of room to expand. I've done multiple checks with time.gov to make sure the watch is keeping accurate time, and it has been 100% accurate each time I've checked. I would recommend this to anyone looking for the simplicity of a basic watch on a budget. Also I should note that the strap is a bit flimsy, so don't expect to be super rough with it. It's perfect for everyday use and is very easy to read. It's just a little clock for your wrist and serves its purpose well!

Very nice... looks very professional at very reasonable cost
I tried to find another watch with this same look that wasn’t a Casio, but had no luck. (I do like Rolex, but that’s in a very different price category.) These days my phone handles all the alarms and notifications I ever want, so all I really want is a simple, reliable way to tell time. Pulling out a phone just to check the time can be inconvenient, and sometimes inappropriate or too obvious. Also, a smartwatch isn’t always allowed in places like testing centers. The only downside is that Casio isn’t considered a “luxury” brand, so it’s not something you’d wear to impress. That said, it’s extremely practical, well-made, and perfect for everyday use.

Nice kids starter watch
My oldest granddaughter has become fascinated with my watch collection and is always after me to let her wear my watches. She just accomplished writing her name by herself for the first time (at 3yo), so as a reward I got her this watch. At 33mm 36mm lug to lug, this is slightly larger than some "kids" watches out there, but I'm out to get her able to recognize her numbers consistently and actually tell time, not read a digital display. This is a wonderful piece for that -- super legible, some water resistance, and inexpensive so if she manages to crack the crystal or just loses it, it's not a heartbreaking situation. One thing folks should be aware of, and the product Q&A didn't seem to really hit on, is that the band is absolutely replaceable, but the specs are WRONG. This is NOT a 20mm band. I bought a nice hot pink (of course her favorite color) child's size 20mm band and it's too big. Fortunately for me, I'd at the same time purchased a kids sized Zulu-style strap (also in hot pink -- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M04HXPQ) that stated 16mm compatibility. It wasn't easy, due to the way the spring bars are set further back into the lugs than a lot of my watches, but I did get the Zulu installed. You can't do what you'd normally do -- put in the spring bars and thread the strap through, though. The bars being set further back means a 1.3mm thick strap won't just thread through. What you have to do (and I've done this on some Chinese origin pieces I own) is push the strap fully up into the little gap that exists "behind" the spring bar holes and push the spring bar fully in against the strap. This isn't easy, and the result has the spring bars under more horizontal tension than I'd like (which means the strap may pop out under normal wear) but again, if it happens and she loses the watch, it's not so expensive I'll be upset in any way. So many watches could learn from the simplicity of this piece. It is amazingly readable even for a 33mm watch. The alignment of the second hand is spot on (which I can't say for some other brands I've spent 20x over the price of this), it's of quartz so of course it is accurate. The crown is a little tough to work with, but it's a tiny watch, so of course it is. It's not screw-down, but it's a $15 watch so of course it isn't. All in all, I'm super happy with this pick up. Granddaughter was ecstatic and loves it.

EASY to read! ACCURATE! TOUGH!
THIS is how all watch faces should be! EASY to read! The MQ24-7B2, aka MQ24-7BLL, has simply perfect proportions of the numericals for ageing eyes, and is a joy to look at. This dirt-simple little watch is a dream work "beater", is light, smooth, light on the wrist, comfy, and stays out of the way! Too many "tough" watches are clunky and have spikes and protrusions that get in the way and get snagged everywhere, but not this one! The white-dial/black-hands contrast is exceptional, and makes it readable even in dim conditions. This 16 dollar watch is remarkably tough for not being a G-Shock, and I even wore it for a year in a hardware store job, where it got banged up with heavy garden wall-stones and heavy metal pieces. It also get drenched in hard garden-hose spray, packed in mud, washing hands, wearing it in the shower, and despite Casio claiming no depth rating, it never got a leak, so working around water I found not to be a problem! It is most importantly a seriously good time-keeper and gains only about 10 to 12 seconds per month! The "crystal" is tough plastic, and does scratch over time. This can be polished out with a thing called "Polywatch", and is well worth doing so. It may be a cheap watch, but is so good, I would find it a shame to toss it for any reason, and a new battery was well worth the few cents, when it ran out after about 4 years or so! The crystal catches no reflections from all over, because it is flat, and I actually found that all the fine scratches I collected made i even less reflective than it already was, helping to make this watch even better in all light conditions :) Like mentioned, I did polish the watch, and it looks a bit worn, and now has real character, with the crystal smooth and just fine with a fine pattern of microscopic fine lines in it, that actually reduce reflectivity! SIZEWISE: Don't even try to complain about this being some girl's or "unisex" watch, code speak by wannabe machos for nasty slurs. This classic Casio uses the old men's size of 35mm, the size used until the 80's, for watches worn as dress watches and in WW2 by tough guys, commandos, paratroopers, storm troopers, seals, etc. MOST were made in Switzerland and sold to all sides, Nazies and Allies! James Bond's first Rolex Submariner was a nowadays diminutive for a dive-watch 38mm size, thanks to the extra outside timer bezel requiring it to be bigger than 35mm, believe it or not! CONCLUSION: Youtube "influencers" have described this as "God Tier", because this watch does just everything so right. I don't do god-stuff, but I agree, that this is one of the greatest of all times, when it comes to simple and highly functional watches! ALSO: Casio's plastic straps are known to break after a few years (they DO break after 1 to 3 years!), and this one is worth a cheap 16mm NATO cloth strap you can buy in some places for 3 bucks, or an original replacement Casio strap, once that happens!

Watch packaging just thin clear plastic?
Works ok, looks ok, but came just wrapped in a piece of clear celluloid like material, and was running. In past, when I've bought these kinda cheapie, but reliable Casio's, they were often in some kind of box with a display thing...and did not run until activated by pulling some strip or pushing button. Wondering if this was a customer return or just to shave on shipping. Seemed odd. These things are good for throwaways, casual use, etc....they are cheap, but good....but those button cell batts cost a bit these days now, and one might as well just rebuy whole watch when batts go dead.(Usually, batt life is kind of long in LCD type watches, but these, if good, new etc may push a year....buy the way, I do NOT think they are anti magnetic, since anytime I use these near my PC, the time is off somewhat....otherwise, no problem. So, and really, I'd llke to know, are these just now wrapped in a small piece of clear thin celluloid like plastic as S.O.P. or did I get a recycled one. Please advise PS: as an edit, or follow up....I noticed some user/s received item with dead battery. Now, the watch is in the $10 range, and is truly great for the money...but if the battery is bad, it may indicate one or more of following: could be a customer return or refurbished, was subjected to excessive heat before getting to you, maybe stayed long time in storage areas. Around my way, these batts go between $2 to over $5 in stores. You can of course order on line for less maybe, but add shipping or min order amn't or must buy multi packs. (You need one.) Careful if you change battery yourself...Easy to do, but it can be tough to avoid ruining or breaking the gasket which makes it water resistant. The latter feature not only for swimming, but routine "stuff" like washing dishes, whatever. These batts have gone up in price, are getting harder to find, fresh. (Competition is timekeeping ability from cell phones.) But if a button cell batt is gonna cost a third to half of a new watch, and I may risk ruining water resistant gasket, I just may store it for spare parts, and buy another watch for ten dollars. This is why I brought up packaging issue...if it is packed differently, and is running when you receive it, where has it been? Stored? Used? What? If you get one and must spend 4-5 bucks for a battery, if you can find (and be warned that dollar store generics may already be corroding, and physical size tends to be iffy, usually heightwise I notice)..so, are you getting a bargain? When item is bought or arrives, be aware of these things. Oh, if you've changed the batt, and were successful, still be careful of water...you may have altered position or have broken water resistant gasket in the process, unknowingly sometimes. I've used these watches for years, ..decent no frills watch. But, batts can be a problem nowadays, and that gasket is a bit delicate. Often, and sadly perhaps, I consider this type watch a throwaway item. Would like it to work a year though on battery cell supplied already installed.

Love it….
Pretty much all you need as far as practicality and simplicity. I have a small wrist and even this watch was smaller than expected, but a very nice watch nonetheless. Easy to adjust time & the adjustment of the band is comforting. Not bad for the price. Definitely a must have for daily life.
