Dow Corning High Vacuum Grease Lubricant 2oz (57g)

This is my second jar of Dow Corning High Vacuum Grease Lubricant. It is very thick, which I need from time to time. My first jar lasted 5 years. It is great for lubricating various pool gaskets, such as my pool filter housing lid. It may be a little pricey, but if you need a thick waterproof grease, this is it! For me, much better than the really thin "watery" lubricating grease. Buy with confidence.

Although this product is sold as a high vacuum grease, I use it to seal the rim of my modified paint pot used for a resin pressure pot. Excellent results.

Seems to be the real stuff. Really thick and sticky. Just like I wanted. Container was nice and full. A tube is cheaper but I’d have to pass it on to many future generations. Very useful as a non-separating damping grease.

I bought this small quantity to lubricate a telescope focuser. I didn't need a lifetime supply. I hate to waste things so 2 ounces was still more than enough. Genuine Dow Corning Vacuum grease just like it says. This grease was needed because it won't run, stable through out an extreme temperature range and allow the speed reduction bearing mechanism to function smoothly without sticking or grinding.

Haven't ever tried any other brands. This stuff works great, high degree of chemical resistance, doesn't thin when heated. Only gripe is if exposed it seems to dry out over time, so works great for a one time seal but for removable parts I find myself reapplying every few applications.

Good grease, have bought multiple times.

The container was filled to the brim and came in sealed bag. Quality there but really I don't know how to prove it other than this stuff is super dense and tacky like my old 3m jar. Would buy again since this is just for my personal shop / garage.

This grease is great, we use it for sealing joints in a vacuum induction furnace and it’s quite durable and easy to work with.
