Waterbloc 600 is a self-contained, waterproof sleep system. Just add a mat and rain jacket over the hood and let Mother Nature do her worst! Waterbloc 600 is both waterproof and vapor permeable and offers excellent warmth and weather protection for its weight. Review: Wide range multipurpose sleeping bag - I'd like to rate it 4.5 Got it 3 weeks before, and used 3~5 times, It's versatility and really impressive. I'm not a hard core hiker, but a backpacker and a photographer, and looking for a sleeping bag for very long time which can meet my specialized needs: 1. lightweight and small enough 2. can be used in rural areas shanty(eg. Nepal) 3. give me most freedom activity, instead of bind up like a mummy(night reading and writing some notes for next day) 4. a solution of early morning or middle night photo shoot(this is a very important feature), can stay in 20F for 1~3 hours so, this one looks like a perfect choice for me and it did after I try it:-) and also there're more benefits above it's core value: 1. it can be spread and become a blanket, this is a ideal solution when I take my son(5 years old) out and have overnight hiking in summer. 2. can be compressed in very small size and put into my 35L backpack(I used a eVent compress sack instead of the original one) 3. can be converted to be a big overcoat, and hold my wife and me to enjoy sunset by the lake in very cold condition The reason why I only give it 4.5: 1. can't full spread to be a blanket(the shoulder can't be spread out, so I'm a litter worry when my son keep kicking that part in sleeping) 2. the hood can't pack up to be a small pillow 3. no snap connect to the sleeping pad, so not "100% perfect" for a blanket solution when I sleep with my son.(it's a ok solution and I'd like to use that way, but just not perfect) anyway, it's still a very good innovated stuff than many other traditional sleeping bag, and the basic feature(eg. warm, soft and tough liner) of a sleeping bag didn't compromise. BTW: I personal think it's worth $300($420 may a little bit over pricing), and I got 50% discount on sale, so I'm pretty happy to own it by only $235. Review: Great sleeping bag! - This bag is pretty awesome. For the few things I don't like, there are many that I do. The bag is high-quality and stuffs into its accompanying bag (which, by the way, is worth as much as the sleeping bag itself!) with such ease its unbelievable. Pros: soft, comfortable, high-quality zippers, and can be worn like a jacket...seriously great when you're wandering around camp in the pre-dawn cold. The hood--yes, it has a hood--is also great if you're sleeping out in the cold or want some additional protection from the wind. One of my favorite things is that it can be zipped to another DreamWalker 450 to make a double-wide bag. My man and I do this when we camp. It's quick, easy, and allows for a lot more wiggle room (and let's me absorb the extra heat that rolls off him in waves--men, honestly, you don't know how nice it is to be warm like that all the time!). Cons: this sleeping bag is not for cold weather. It's fantastic for a back-country hike during the summer because it's extremely lightweight. However, don't expect it to keep you warm when you're looking at anything below 40 degrees, maybe even 50. Obviously, I get cold easily, but even my human heater of a man gets cold when we take these out in early spring or fall. Also, the material would be easy to snag or rip. It's durable, but it's definitely light. Don't go throwing them down under a pine tree--you'll wake up with a shredded bag. Overall, I love the thing. It was 100% worth the money. If you're looking for something to take on summer hiking adventures, this is the bag for you.

What a great bag. I am 6'5" with broad shoulders and this bag fit great. not too tight and plenty long enough. It is warm and comfortable. I love the added features that allow it to double as a jacket if needed. It packs doen small, even smaller with a compression bag. Can't go wrong with this as a three season bag.
