Used this on recommendation of a dog trainer and it’s fab!!!! Works perfectly for recall unless the dog is already in prey drive (for that you’d need a shock collar I suspect). We use the vibration mode when she decides something is more interesting than us. The beeping mode is more for when she’s looking at things or distracted by things like too much interest in sheep, about to jump on people etc. It’s been completely submerged in water a couple of times and so far (it was two weeks back) it still works perfectly. Battery life in the remote seems to last forever but on the vibrating unit it’ll need charged more often. Depends how much you use it obviously but does us for occasional use for about 10 hours I’d guess. Probably more. The remote has a small led torch and there’s one on the collar too. Not used it yet but this king it’ll be good for offlead night time walks or if you end up out later than planned. Although a full led collar would show up far better. If I’m doubt, give it a go. It’s not expensive and we’ve had amazing results. Without exaggeration it’s been a life changer and makes dog walking much more of a pleasure knowing she’ll always come back to us now

My nearly 2 yo dog developed a bad habit of stealing things every day, then not wanting to give them back.....unfortunately, such a sweet natured, friendly dog would get guardy over the stolen items, and it got to the point where someone would get nipped if you tried to reclaim item! Thankfully, this training tool has helped immensely...he now understands and obeys the leave it/drop it command, and after just a couple of weeks the bad habit/behaviour has been solved!!!!!

We have a 10month gsd who was enjoying mouthing a little too much & wouldn’t take no for an answer and then wouldn’t back down. First night we used this after 3 buzzes on a low setting stopped him in his tracks! This has now taught him No means no. We have then gone on to teach him leave it (was terrible for eating his own poo & stealing items!) this collar has been so good for us & restoring the balance in the house with the dog because the biting was getting to a stage where I thought it wasn’t going to be safe having him in the house anymore as we have a 3yr old little girl. So I can’t recommended this collar enough! Just be sure you know how & when to use it or more issues could occur.

I bought this because another owner that I know had had good results from using it with his dog. Unfortunately, with a reactive dog such as mine, it was less effective. I've no doubt that it is a useful training aid but probably more so with young dogs. It's not difficult to use, although I sometimes found myself fumbling with the remote control, especially when my dog was on the lead. It's not hard to set up for use but the instructions that come with it certainly need improving, because the standard of English is very poor. The quality of the plastic collar with which the receiver is attached to the dog's neck is also poor.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. I placed the vibrating module firmly against the skull of my sleeping Labrador. Set at Level 99, I expected at the very least she'd stir. But no such reaction. Open a packet of crisps and she's instantly alert, but this pathetically weak vibration device couldn't wake this sleeping dog. Sensing victory was waning, I rallied with a long hard press of the Beep function. Nothing. Not even a twitch. But that's not surprising as I hardly heard it myself. Maybe she's a heavy sleeper? Take a bite from a biscuit two rooms away and marvel at the speed a Labrador can move, from deep slumber to wide-eyed excitement. But this device is useless. Weak. Ineffective. The stuff chocolate teapots are made of.

Right first of all I purchased this item on behalf of my neighbour who was having issues with their Amazon log in so please read what they have told me regarding this item and I cannot answer any further questions regarding this due to the fact I do not go out with them walking their dog. Firstly it was recommended at the dog training school they use and attend more so because it only buzzes and not shock the animal please bear this in mind. On first use she had the dog out on his lead he tried to pull to chase a cat a little press on the remote the dog came to heel . He was walking in the field and was being as dogs do thinking they can have a deaf ear a couple presses on the remote ge returned all Happy and no issues this has made my friends life very much easier as she has a disability that effects her balance and strength abd their dog is a medium to large size bid soft get to be fair but strong is a understatement so this has now made her daily walking with her dog a breeze. She is much happier the dog is far more responsive and his training sessions are even better for her having this device I asked her what she thinks and she said she would highly recommend this product to any responsible dog owner for both free safe state of mind and being in control of the dog without causing any durress I do hope this is what you all want to hear and good luck in the future with your pet if you buy one 😊

EDIT: Sadly this stopped working suddenly after only a couple of uses. This does seem to be an issue by reading other reviews. A faulty product with no durability unfortunately. A shame as it had some potential. Remote controlled dog training collar . Great battery life, lovely collar and it works really well. Excellent value for money. My little French bulldog has an issue with barking and running away when off leash. Really seen a huge difference in behaviour since using the device. Recommended.
