Seals well with faint odor
I wouldn't apply this indoors, even though the label says it's safe to do so. "Low odor" does not equal odor-free. I have used it outdoors, without issue. It works well to seal paper or mixed media art/crafts. I live in a humid area, so it did take 2-3 days to dry completely. I expected this. The product is excellent quality, and I would recommend to art hobbyists, students, and pros.

Perfect to seal nail decals
I make nail decals and use this to seal them! It’s great for decals and also if you don’t want to seal them outside. I’ve tried the original spray and it was entirely too strong to spray indoors even with ventilation. However it’s a hassle to always go outside to spray as you need to apply a few layers and I don’t have a backyard. This spray is good for indoors! Open your windows and possible have a fan/vent on. But the smell isn’t strong at all in my opinion. I apply 3-4 layers for water slides nail decals. If you don’t apply enough sealant your decals will bleed or fade when using them. If you spray too much your decals will be to crunchy and break easy. 3-4 thin coats seems to be the perfect amount in my experience. Don’t spray too close and don’t spray a lot!! Even thin coats every 15-20 mins works well. I usually wait a few hours after the last coat to use them. I do wish it was cheaper but I make a lot of decals out of 1 can so it’s worth it!

Lower odor spray
I used this for a class I was teaching. It sprays on white but quickly dries so don't freak out about that like I did at first! It definitely dries in 15 minutes or less and the gloss added a great sheen to my project. It is lower odor than other sprays but it still smells. I would not spray indoors and left my projects outside for two days to air out. Also, the lids are really hard to get off - I guess there is NO way my kids could get into it but just keep turning until the cap finally comes off. I will use it again when doing stone projects or projects requiring a sealant.

Lives up to the billing!
Before you use this product, practice on a scrap surface. See how fast it sprays, what’s the best distance from the object. A few light coats are better than a heavy coat. A well shaken can will not spit. Over-spraying causes shiny wet blotches to appear. The fixative works well. The lack of odor surprised me, but I used a simple mask and spayed outside to be cautious.

Excellent finisher
I got this to add a protective layer to stickers I put on my guitar. It worked great and makes the stickers look like they're painted onto the body. It's excellent, glossy, and not as strong odor as others. "Low odor" doesn't mean "no odor" so make sure you use this outdoors in a well ventilated area - you don't want the insides of your lungs to have a clear gloss coat!

Awful product, never seen a worse spray paint. Do not buy it trust me.
The cap was super tight on, but I’ve opened many cans before so I eventually got it off. But right as the cap came off I hear a hissing sound and the nozzle blows off. Spray paint started spraying all over my hands making my house smell awful. The thing was not usable. Insane..

It sealed the artwork alright, but…
It also “smeared” it, too. I’ve used krylon before. The spray that came out of this bottle was so chunky and left huge white globs all over my work. I gasped for a moment and ran for the paper towels to even out the spray before it dried in white lumps. So technically, I smeared it, but it would have looked horrendous had I left it the way that it was. On a positive note, the fixative made the colors really pop. I guess there are “tricks” you can use that will make the spray not come out as lumpy. I’m not sure how often I’ll be using this in the future. I’m not sure if it’s worth the risk of ruining whole projects? I’m not a big fan of chemicals either, and it did the very thing it was supposed to prevent: smearing the art. I’m using this fixative mostly for colored pencil drawings. They don’t smear too much if stored properly and handled with care. So this fixative may take a back seat with me. Happy I have it for backup but not sure how often I’ll use it…
