Ruckus ZoneFlex 901-R710-US00 [R710] 802.11ac Wireless Access Point w/ Mounting Clip (Renewed)

This AP is very powerful and helps max out my internet connection, it is very stable, only went down once because I didn’t have a UPS battery backup, but now I do to protect this awesome AP. Overall, this specific AP is made for RF saturated areas, and channel fly helps make the best possible channel plan, I never have to look after it, it looks after it self which is super nice.

Ruckus r710 that was shipped to me did not match the image. I got no bracket, no screws, nothing. My unit had a crack on the right of the housing. It had screws rolling around inside and broken plastic tabs. The unit would boot up but flash at CTL light. It can't retrieve configuration. I tried everything for SSH to usb firmer upgrade but nothing could see the unit. I have configured dozens of these and this one is just bad. It also was so open, I could see the circuit board, with a bent pin header, corrosion and glue fingerprints.

Because this was a refurbished...I mean, renewed model, the firmware was a bit funny and I had to flash it before I could even use the product. And I couldn't register the product with Ruckus. But that being said, this product exceeds any home wifi in terms of performance. It isn't really meant to be a home router with uPnP and whatnot, but for a user wanting an excellent wifi AP, this is it. My setup (before) Fiber internet Netgear Nighthawk R7000 12-24 Wifi Homekit devices 6 users with corresponding phones, tvs, computers all complaining about how slow the internet is. My setup (now) Netgear Nighthawk (wifi off) Ruckus R710 Very happy family.

Received and works. Had paint on it where someone missed the wall but didn't affect performance.

You can change software and use it in unleashed mode

The product was used and did not come with the hanger or any instructions and I could not find Tech Support had to return product because I could not configure it

Works exactly as I'd expect for a ruckus r710. Gives me decent wifi coverage everywhere in the house and is a nice standalone AP running unleashed.
