Skechers Men's Segment Garnet Fashion Boots

Call me a snob if you like. I usually buy Rockport boots or Timberland. I am usually happy with these for quality and fit. Although they may be a little bit pricier I have trusted their products. I work as a chef and my shift normally lasts 9 1/2 hours daily. I am on my feet the entire time. I thought I would try these boots from Sketchers as they looked very similar to the type of boots I wear for work. They were very affordable as compared to the boots I usually buy. I trusted the reviews and was happy with my purchase. The boots fit well, warm in the cold and breathable when hot. They wipe clean with a damp cloth and look good as new. When I require new boots for work I would look for the same again or similar from Sketchers assuming durability is good as I have only had these a couple of weeks. I will be sure to update if they are not but overall first impressions is that they a great buy not only for work but overall everyday wear.

The second most comfortable boot I've ever worn, the first was an earlier pair of Skechers. Stylish, beautiful finish and easy to wear.

Great boots

Very comfortable boot. As expected though its relaxed fit and as Skechers are a generous size,their relaxed fit is even bigger. I'm a size 12.5 uk I purchased a 12 .it fits ok but ever so slightly too big but fine once socks are on ..good quality waxed leather. Good stitching.. I wouldn't say they're a warm boot but certainly fine for walking etc Very comfortable and reasonably light so that's a bonus

Had the chance to try these in Dept store before purchasing from Amazon, I am normally size 9, tried size 9, too big, size 8 too small. Dept store did not do 1/2 sizes, but Amazon did! but limited to one colour choice. So for me 8.5 was perfect, so I am guessing sizing is a bit out. Apart from that, nice and comfy, very light, great to wear all day at work. These are not suitable for hiking etc, they are not robust enough.

waited a long time for them to arrive, far east i expect. great fit, put them on while doing an hour on the laptop, forgot i had them on , there that comfortable. will walk shortly and update. but everthing else is as you would expect at this price. fit good,sewing good, comfy round the heal and top of the ankle. and very light for a boot. i have always bought clarks,and judge anything else on them. but in my mind, clarks are loosing the battle to others,and skechers.

Soles like an hard rubber, sketcher have gone down in there quality

Love Skechers memory foam boots as they are the most comfortable and hard wearing. I currently have a pair which I've had for about 5 or 6 years (bought from Brantano so that gives you an idea of how long) and they're still in good nick. Decided to buy these as they ticked the boxes for me. Thick soles, memory foam and relaxed fit and they are getting more difficult to get hold of. Fit perfectly and I know they'll be comfortable without too much walking in.

If you're looking for a well built, classic leather boot these fit the bill perfectly. Although I don't think they would do well for off road bush hiking because of the softer leather upper and a more forgiving sole, they are best suited for walking on harder surfaces and are very comfortable. As mentioned, they have that appealing, traditional look of solid leather. If you want to go off trail hiking then a pair of Merrell hiking boots might be your best bet. They are also sold through Amazon. Otherwise, these boots are perfect for pretty much anything else and at a great price as well.

2nd pair of 11XW for my very active teenage son. The pics compare shoes after 2 years of use. He's used these shoes for everything from outdoor work (climbing ladders, roofing, gardening, yard work) to outdoor sports (hiking, running - yes, running - idk, mountain biking) to going out to weddings or nicer things. Things he likes about these shoes: - They are ACTUALLY XW, as in wider in the toes, kind of like a foot-shaped style shoe (we have tried and returned several boots that are not actually XW, bc they pinch in the toes) -They are instantly comfortable - You can wear them for anything - They look good (per him, not "goofy" like some foot-shaped shoe company styles) What I've noticed: - These things LAST. Usually mountain bike pedals tear up shoes, but these...the tread and stiching don't look like they've seen the constant rough stuff they've seen. From work to play to more professional things - they last longer than other shoes. I'm impressed bc this guy is not easy on shoes. We had to get a new pair bc the soles finally started coming unglued after 2+ (2.5?) years of hard wear. Great boot!
