Wonderful product, but use different brushes
I read the reviews on this product before buying, and I suggest the same!I actually love this product! I usually tend to wear very little makeup, and when I do, it's typically the moisturizer, tiny bit of bronzer, tiny bit of blush, and mascara each day. I bought this kit for when I really want to have fun doing my makeup and go out for a special occasion or a big night out.First, I feel like this product can fit so many skin shades and pigments. I'm pretty fair skinned and brunette, but found that using this product very moderately is the key. Start small and then build if you need/want to!I would suggest not using the brushes that come in this kit. They're pretty much like brushes you get in a little girl's makeup/glitter kit.Besides the brushes, though, this contour kit is awesome. It's creamy but doesn't look heavy or make my sensitive skin break out. It also gives great and simple directions for where to highlight, contour, and bronze. Enjoy!

Review taken from[...]
Posted on my blog: [...]The purpose of color correcting is to contrast the discoloration or unwanted color on your face. Whether you have acne, redness, blemishes or scars, color correcting is applicable to everyone. The City Color Contour & Correct Cream Palette has four main colors- yellow, green, purple and orange- which are used to diminish and perfect flaws. The color wheel, found on my blog, can be used to help guide your color selection. The science behind this madness is the concept of complementary colors. When two opposing colors meet their match, they cancel out. Hence, using orange for dark spots on your face, or green for red spots on your face. Essentially, the two colors combined are supposed to make a grey-white tone. You know you've selected the correct color if your target area blends nicely when paired with your foundation or concealer.Red Puffy eyes- use greenBlue Veins under eyes- use yellowPurple Bags- use yellowDark Blemishes- use orange or yellowRedness- use green

Didn't care for it, plus had skin reaction.
For me, it doesn't go on very smoothly whether I used a brush or my finger, and it took a lot of product (multiple layers) to cover my dark circles. However, there's a lot of product so no real danger of running out quickly. I have normal-to-oily skin and suffer from not only dark circles, but also raccoon eyes from makeup, so I have to work hard to find things that I can use. While the salmon color eventually covered the dark circles, the yellow and purple actually did a great job highlighting and covering redness. I used the yellow on my eyelids and the corners of my eyes as a brightener. I used the purple to help cover reddish areas around my nose. However, I have experienced some very very dry skin as a result of this product, and have had painful red flaky patches develop on the outer corners of, and underneath, my eyes. I've discontinued use of this and the painful red flaky patches disappeared. I've never had a reaction to makeup - this one was a first. So for me, the product wasn't all that easy to use, and the reason I bought it (dark circles) resulted in difficult and mediocre coverage. While the yellow and purple worked well, all together it wasn't worth the tradeoff for the skin reaction and the difficulty in application.

and since most of my clients have darker skin they first big shade is a very good concealer, the other two dark ones i use ...
I use this specifically for clients, and it works very well, all the colors do it's purpose, and since most of my clients have darker skin they first big shade is a very good concealer, the other two dark ones i use for contouring. It's not great for very fair, lighy, light to medium skin tones i must say.... at least because of the bigger pans, the colored ones i think would work just fine.

They are super creamy, and can be built up really quickly
The contour colors are dope. They are super creamy, and can be built up really quickly! The correctors are a lot more sheer, and don't seem to build up as much, A woman might like that, but I need some real color correction for my brows/beard.

AMAZING!!~~
Okay so I just got into contouring but I seen a video on Youtube by Alexisjayda and i just had to try it <3!~ [...]Omg it works so great. My face is round and I needed to add a bit of depth and make my cheeks and jaw stand out more. This palette did wonders. Its an all in one palette so i was able to hide my dark circles, even out my skin tone, hide blemishes and contour/highlight!~ And for the price you can't beat it. So I shall be ordering again for sure!!~~ <3

Buy for the color correctors
Great color correcting shades downsides are that the highlight shade doesnt show up on my skin and the contouring ones are very hard to blend and leave lines on my face were u put it at even when I try to blend it out really hard

If your nc 35 or less its great!!!
I'm neutral on this. Its not WOC friendly at all!!!! The only color I was able to work with was the peach color corrector. My expectatations fell flat. I gave 3 stars because the product is creamy and a nice consistency. For someone with fair skin or less melanin this would definitely work.

I have oily skin and this creamy texture is somehow perfect. Absolutly love the effect on my face
Honestly the stars are for the contour set.I have oily skin and this creamy texture is somehow perfect.Absolutly love the effect on my face! The only problem i have are with the coloured ones.I especially use orange and purple and all thou they are creamy and easy to apply they dont seem to do the work. Its like excess product on my face.I have tried it with their brush/Mac Brushes and my fingers but it didn't work for me.
