As someone who enjoys a pour of bourbon or rye once or twice a week, I researched and found this is a common ingredient in many products advertised to minimize the effects of drinking alcohol. Tried it by itself. It is amazing. One pill before drinking. I also take milk thistle at night and in the AM. The pill quality of this brand is excellent.

This makes my hair grow very fast because L cysteine is needed to grow hair

GMP tested. I don't know if supplements actually work or if Im just pissing my money away as I haven't noticed a difference in health since taking and I haven't been getting my blood work done to measure any meaningful affect from it but my health nut mom said it's good for me so yeah I'll give it a go

I am sure this is a great seller and product and I was looking forward to taking it, BUT I could not get past the sulfur smell-wow.

1) These pills are 500mg. A serving size of 2 pills is 1000 mg. It is misleading to advertise this product as 1000 mg AND 100 capsules because it is actually 50 servings of 1000mg. 2) For anybody asking if this is NAC: no. L-cysteine is what NAC will become after metabolism, L-cysteine is the active metabolite of NAC. NAC is inert and has no effect until it is metabolized into cysteine. The addition of the acetyl group improves penetration into the brain, that's the major difference. Another, slightly less significant difference is that NAC gives you slightly less cysteine for the same dose because of the wasted space taken up by the acetyl.
