Great choice!
Contractor since 1985; retiring progressively as I finish renovating our own house. A lot of wall finishing to do, so I protect the floors with floor shields. Hi highly recommend this tape to bind the shield panels. Warning: Bind the panels (butted together, no overlapping necessary). I taped panels to my tile floor in some areas, and when came the time to remove the floor protection after three weeks, a lot of the tape stayed glued to the tile and required a good amount of soaking and scraping to come off. It is a strong binding tape!

This tape is STICK-Y!
The tape is very sticky and strong. When applying, try not to stick it directly to the flooring (which is what I was trying to protect with the heavy paper). The tape might leave a residue on the flooring when the paper is removed. Provided the protected surface is durable, Goof Off will clean up the adhesive. It's probably a better idea to use the tape only to join the paper edges. If you're trying to keep the paper from shifting, use wide blue painter's tape to secure the paper to the flooring. I kept an extra roll as a good alternative to duct tape.

The only tape to use for its intended purpose
When you’re putting down their paper, this is the only tape to use when making a paper to paper joint. Do not use this to hold paper down to hardwood. It will most likely pull up the polyurethane finish. Indestructible put it down and it stays and does the job. I’m a contractor use it daily.

Stands the test of time.
Some tapes pull up easy or loose stickiness over time. This tape is ultra strong and last over the length of my project—more than a month without losing its grip.

Do NOT tape to the floor
It works well. Don't be like me: read the instructions and do NOT put this on your floor.
