It works......however
Mixed emotions on my satisfaction, but in fairness to the product "they told me so". Here's the deal. I live in Florida, and like MANY Floridians I've installed an aftermarket tinted sun strip at the top of my windshield to stop the sun glare that the standard windshield tint does not adequately address. Now the product outline WARNS against this because it hampers the products performance. And they are correct. However, while the performance IS hindered, I feel that the item STILL has value. At night, without the glare of the sun, the product performs magnificently. During the day, there are restrictions. If the sun is beating directly into the windshield, you can barely make out the outline of overhead signal lights and the color of the signal (red or green) is impossible to see. When the sun is NOT shining directly into the windshield, you can clearly see the overhead traffic signals. Sadly, you can NOT see the "Red" coloring if the signal, but you CAN see when the signal turns to "Green". So.......I write this review to those, like me, that have a heavily tinted windshield that may be turned off by the products accurate disclaimer. There IS still value, albeit limited.

It Works in a Mini for a 6' Driver
So helpful. Was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews but decided it was worth a try. 6 feet tall here and use it in a Mini Cooper. No more neck strain. Would be great to include this as standard equipment in all Minis. I've had it 4 months and it solved the only thing I didn't like about my car. Another reviewer said that it's easy to pull so far under a traffic light that the lens doesn't work. This happened to me a couple times at 1 intersection. Then I started checking the lens to make sure I stopped far enough back - a few feet back did the trick, not even 1/2 a car length. And this only happens on 1 light that I go thru regularly. It's a pedestrian-only crossing that's different from most intersections. Thanks to the maker.

Work well, with a catch
Great product, does exactly what it says it will do. There is one side effect, it also catches the sun light and reflects it right into your eyes if it’s lined up just so. It’s not that big of a deal, it’s usually only for a split second and then it goes away, but it can be pretty annoying. Still, I think I’ll keep it. It works well enough I’m willing to deal with it

Sit up straight and *still* see the light!
My initial impression was "Wow! This is great!" I waited a few days before reviewing. After days of testing and careful consideration, "Wow! This is great!" You *will* see the sun when you wouldn't otherwise, but it's just an image of the sun so if you don't look directly at it you'll be ok. There can be a slight distraction for the first few minutes but it's up at the top of your field of view and not really a bother. The lettering on the smooth side should be reversed so it reads right from inside the car, and yes, he should raise the price and do free shipping. It's still great. I'm buying three more - one for my wife's car and one each for my two brothers. Here is my improved installation instruction (already moved it back and forth between my car and the wife's). 1) Clean the inside of your windshield with a NON-AMMONIA cleaner. 2) Sit up straight and look straight ahead. Use your left index finger to make a mark at the top of where you can see on the windshield. 3) Wet the smooth side of the LightInSight (less mess than wetting your freshly cleaned windshield). I used a spray bottle. 4) Using the index mark you made press the smooth side of the lens to the inside of your windshield. Smooth out any air bubbles. You can move it around for a few minutes. 5) Carefully clean up the small mess around where you were just sliding it around. He notes that it may look slightly cloudy for 6-24 hours while the water dries. I didn't notice that happening. The image of the lights is small, but easily seen.

Must Have!
I have a Jeep and was a little skeptical because these windshields are straight and flat but this thing works Great! Install was super easy but until the water dried it would slide around when I was getting the bubbles out. Now it's sticks real good after drying. Looks good. Doesn't get in the way. Definitely a must have if you have trouble seeing stop lights!

Fantastic product!!!
I own a 2006 Jeep Liberty and I am 6 feet tall. If you are approximately my height and own this model, you know my predicament: the driver's seat is high in the vehicle and cannot be lowered so your line of sight is more towards the top of the windshield. When pulling up to a stop light, the light can't be seen unless you bend down and look up. This product solved the problem. It is very simple to apply and can be easily pulled off to re-adjust. I no longer look or feel like "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" at a traffic light!
