Sound and mic are good quality. Have had no issues. The only thing I would change is making the mute button to be able to turn on and off without holding the button in.

This headset works great, but BE CAREFUL about checking the plug size. I ordered one to use with my cell phone during COVID, and it worked great. I ordered this one for my mom (just reordered the exact thing I had ordered before), and the plug was too big to fit into that same cell phone. Since my mom can't use it, I found I am able use it on my landline phone, so I still get use out of it, but it's disappointing that I ordered the exact same thing twice, and it came in two different plug sizes.

I bought this to replace a Panasonic I had owned for many years. This set is a great replacement, has a heavier cord and is made solidly, but it has one minor issue. It's so tight on my head that it actually start hurting after about 30 minutes of wear. I attempted to stretch out the metal band, but it just springs back into it's original shape. I don't want to stretch too far for fear it will break. The best solution I can find it to wear it over a hat so the hat band spreads out the pressure. The noise cancelling works fairly well unless it's wind or a fan that's blowing air across the microphone. I'd definitely buy this again . . . just wish it didn't fit so tightly on my head (which is a normal 7 1/8 hat size).

Upon receiving the unit, I ran a test between my Panasonic telephone and my wife's cell phone. Worked well. Nice day. I wanted to use the headphones when I called my bank. Nothing worked. Later, I tried again, and nothing. I have been using headphones for years and understand how they work. In contacting the seller over a period of three days, they wanted to send a replacement with ear units on both sides plus cheaper in price. I returned then back to Amazon.

The headset fits well, is secure and comfortable. Plus, there are extra ear pads and microphone pads in the box. I was able to hear well, and callers were able to hear me well. Much better than my original headset. That one folded, which was convenient, but was loose and did not have a high enough volume - it was hard to hear well.

Update: After 11 months of using it less than 2 hours a week, the wires/connections failed. First the mic became scratchy and then cut out completely. I tried it with a different phone and it is not my phone jack. Oh well - reducing from 4 to 2 stars. This is the one-sided headset that I use with a cordless telephone with on an excercise machine. The sound quality is great, but the length of the headband is rather short. I have it extended all the way and don't have the largest head.

Worked pretty good for about three months then it stopped working. I have to look for another one.
