Nice sound, With Lots of Frustrations
The LittleSax is a great way to make music. I got it because I though it would be a nice way to set in my chair and play. It is advertised as a 2 octive instrument. It can hit 2 octives but not at first. You will need to learn how to bend notes. The instructions that you can download is not very clear. Being in Chinese with English notes flashed on the screen every now and then. I have ask for the sheet music that can be sent via email several times with no respons. I can get good sounds from it but the fingering of the notes are strange. You will need to learn the numbering system used because it is not in traditional music notes. I also own the Minisax which is a similar insterment with a more traditional fingerings. I do love the low full tone of the LittleSax.

You get what you pay for.
Decent for a novelty item. It's pretty dang hard to believe you can play much of anything on it. The upper range is so difficult to play chromatically that it would be hard to play anything other than Mary Had a Little Lamb in anything but a few keys.

Not for beginners
This isn’t for beginners... I played the alto, tenor, and baritone sax for yrs, and I’m very musically inclined. That being said, it was a bit difficult adjusting to this instrument. I’m still feeling it out, but have improved greatly with time. I am fairly satisfied with it for the price.

Powerful little instrument
I purchased this to learn how to play a reed instrument. It took a few weeks but I was able to get the hang of it eventually. The included mouthpiece is so-so, consider getting a basic Yamaha 4C alto mouthpiece to speed up your learning process. I'd also suggest starting with Plasticover 1.0 reeds. That's what I'm using in the video. The video has reverb on it, just an FYI. All in all, I consider this a good deal at this price for people wanting a playable first reed instrument.

takes more air and breath than my alto
I've been playing an alto for years and this thing is so hard to get sound out of. I had to blow four times harder just to get some tones, it's not worth it. My alto is a breeze compared to this piece of junk.

No full instructions on how to correct screechy sounds
There were no instructions but a link to a YouTube video. Unfortunately I didn’t fully understand what all of the pieces were for as it looks like they were put on and taken right back off again. I think I put it together as shown but the sound is terrible and I don’t know how to correct it. I don’t see other videos on it to compare it to.

Not Fun—Yet
I just got this pipe today. I was so excited to have something in the key of C so I wouldn’t have to transpose to play with my friends. I was also thinking it would be so much easier to set up than my alto or tenor sax. I even thought it would be much easier to play given the small size. Well, I put it together, which was very easy. But when I tried to play it, I was very glad I know how to play a regular sax. At least I could get sound out of it. It took a huge amount of breath to play three or four notes. I changed out the ligature and reed for some I knew worked well on my alto. That helped a little. I’m going to keep trying to play it snd hope for the best. UPDATE: I gave up after several attempts to play. I couldn't sustain the amount of air it takes to get notes out of this pipe. Returned.

This was my first wind instrument with reed. The first few days struggled to get a sound coming out of it. With the help of YouTube videos managed to get sound. The videos associated with this product were of not much help as they were not in English. After a week of trying managed to play the full scale. After three weeks able to play some simple songs. Tip for beginners, try different mouth positions, it helps to moisten the reed at the start, and the reed may develop fungus if left without cleaning in summer. As a beginner have nothing to compare against. Feel it as good value for money for trying out before moving on the bigger better pricey instrument. Some guidance on how often to change reeds, how best to store it ( with or without reed) would be helpful for beginners like me.

Tried to find a button where I could contact the seller to ask if mine may be faulty I definitely cannot get it to make any noise that doesn’t sound like a very Honkey flute

El problema es que no he podido generar los "overtones" para las notas altas. Hasta ahora no he visto un buen video tutorial que enseñe como hacerlo. Seguiré practicando.
