I made a pot of yummy chowder for a friend's gathering. Everyone raved over how tasty the clams were. A good source of protein for a low price.

So recently I made some homemade New England clam chowder and I put three cans of this in the soup along with the broth and everything and I got to say that this came out rather well. If I was to price each one of these cans at the store against what I paid through Amazon this was definitely a better value for the money and also had very good quality. I can't wait to try this in a clam dip for New years but if these come out as well as the Clam chowder did I'm looking very forward to it

Good stuff - by a 10oz pack of 12 a few times a year for chowder and clam soup. Quality is good, taste is good, juice also good. Can't go wrong for the price.

I made homemade Clam Chowder & these cans were perfect. However one can was dented so I threw it out. It happens.

BEWARE, shell pieces! I've used this brand for many years and have never had a problem. This time. There were enough shell fragments I two different servings had fragments in it and I had to throw out the rest of the clam chowder. Bumblebee won't care. They'll just tell me they have a warning on the can. With the small clams and shell fragments about the size of the clams or smaller, am I supposed to go through every single clam between my fingers? Unacceptable! The taste was good and if you are going to touch each clam to maybe put it on cracker appetizer or something then you'll probably be fine.

Previously, I was using Snow's chopped clams in my stir fries but in addition to being ground like ground beef, the cans were less than half full of clams. Bumble Bee baby clams are the perfect size for adding to stir-fried vegetables, and the cans were full of clams instead of floating around in cans full of water. I will definitely be reordering.

Not as advertised or stated on the can label as printed as whole clams. They were minced. into very fine pieces. There was a few larger chunks but were so tough they could not be chewed. even with the smaller pieces when I chewed them they formed a big wad in my mouth that had to be spit out, I would compare to a mouthful of chopped rubber bands. Totally no flavor...No value here.
