Great product ~

This is not an alternative to brushing your dogs teeth!!!!. However, it is a good daily routine to start. I try to brush my dogs teeth once a week, but I put this foam in their mouth EVERY NIGHT. It's equivalent to humans mouthwash. It kills bacteria which in turn reduces plaque and fights infection and also helps with bad breath. It's nowhere near as strong as humans mouthwash, I doubt it has any alcohol in it at all. It does smell minty and it doesn't really seem to bother them it's more the action of forcing something in their mouth that they don't like. But my dogs let me do it no problem and in two seconds it's over. Don't be turned off if your dog doesn't like it. Oral hygiene is way more important than your dogs comfort for three seconds! Dental problems can reduce up to five years off your dogs life, it serious! And you should take it very seriously. If you're not brushing your dogs teeth at least once a week, you really need to do START NOW!! It's super important!!! I wish somebody would've told me that for the first five years of my dogs life! You should also, buy the water additive that kills bacteria also. So if you brush your dogs teeth once a week, their water bowl is belong kills bacteria and you use the foam every night then you will be off to a great start! Then maybe you can work your way up to brushing your dogs teeth 3-4 times a week, which is how often they r actually supposed to be brushed! Keep in mind that to get your dogs teeth cleaned professionally is $500. So whatever you can do to keep their teeth healthy pushes that dental cleaning further and further away!

Helps with the breath but he doesn’t like it foaming. Hopefully it will keep his teeth clean as well.

This stuff actually works! My dog’s breath was getting pretty bad, and brushing his teeth is basically impossible, so this foam has been a lifesaver. A couple sprays and his breath smells way better almost instantly. It’s easy to use, doesn’t freak him out, and the foam dissolves quickly without leaving any sticky mess. I like that it’s made in the USA and has simple ingredients too. I use it every few days, and it really helps keep his mouth clean between vet cleanings. If brushing is a struggle or you just want something quick for fresh breath, this spray is perfect. Super convenient and my dog doesn’t even mind it now. 🐶🫧

I’ve been using about a month, and haven’t noticed a significant difference in dog breath smell. My dog, also hates the foamy squirt into mouth. I also feed dentals chews and occasionally brush back teeth with enzyme toothpaste. I have to honestly say that the expensive dog dental products just don’t work. If I change my mind after a few more months I’ll update.

Help for bad doggy breath

For the people who think this is just for breathe maybe you should try reading the label. It also removes the nasty tarter. It just says cleans teeth on the bottle but that’s what it means. I bought this for my youngest dog. She is only five but had by far the worst teeth out of all my dogs who are older than her. I suspect due to her Chihuahua genes as they notoriously have bad teeth pretty quickly for some reason. She had so much tarter that her gums are pulling away from her teeth. She does not like chewing on those teeth cleaning treats. I tried to scrap of the tarter myself but it wouldn’t budge. I got this stuff delivered 7 days ago and have been using it once a day since then. The last 3 days I’ve been using a qtip to act as a gentle tooth brush on the really bad spots. Today I was able to just scratch some off really easily. Some just rubbed right off. So yes it really does get the tarter off as long as your consistent. At first I was just using my finger to rub her teeth after applying it. Her gums were so inflamed that I didn’t what to use a brush of any king cause I knew it would definitely cause bleeding and discomfort. The second picture is of a nice white spot where the tarter had fallen off. I will continue to use it like this until it’s all gone and then probably use less often just to keep them clean.

Aside from having had to properly introduce them to teeth cleaning, they really like this foam! In general, I had to patiently get them to like cleaning their teeth (watch videos on you tube on how to properly introduce your dogs to teeth cleaning), but before you do, you make sure that you get this foam product instead of sprays. Sprays work well, but this foam in particular takes a like to them. They don't get upset when I brush their teeth, and the fact that they like this flavor helps a lot! I highly recommend this foam for after the teeth brushing with toothpaste. I use this after their brushing, three times a week ( Tu, Th and Sundays). I give them a little treat prior to brushing their teeth, then another small little treat prior to using the foam. And once they take in the foam, I won't let them drink water only for that night so that the foam stays in their teeth. They are very happy dogs, and teeth cleaining is one of the number one reasons why! Plus this product helps me prevent an expensive dentist visit too! Their teeth are white! Thanks!!

At last a product that seems to be improving my Cavalier’s dental hygiene significantly. We do use other stuff too, which no doubt make a contribution (Arm & Hammer water additive and dental chews), but I can’t find a reliable or effective way of brushing her tiny little Cavalier teeth in that adorable wee mouth. I can’t say she lights up with pleasure when she sees me approach with the spray, but she doesn’t slink off under the table either. Dental health is particularly important for Cavaliers because they are prone to heart disease but now I seem to be preventing build up of tartar fairly well. The irony is that our cat, who’s 14, and never had her teeth cleaned in her life, has fabulous teeth, which is just as well, as I value my blood rather highly- the annual visit to the vet for her checkup and immunisations is a two person job, requiring careful planning and a new strategy every time..
