MAC-24P-EP, Heavy Duty, High Velocity 24" pedestal fan

I use a pedestal fan in my bedroom and have for most of my life. This one is probably the most powerful one I've owned. It's got a cool yellow blade and yellow "Master" logo on the front shroud. Assembly is not hard but the spring that comes with it is incredibly filthy from some type of grease. I cleaned it up and used a clean spray lubricant instead. The motor is heavy and powerful and the switch is positioned to one side instead of the rear, with redundant 1-3 settings on a 360 degree rotation. The fan isn't really noisy but anything as powerful as this with big metal blades is going to make air noise. I like the air noise. All in all it's a great fan, would be really good in a shop as well.

This thing moves air like a champ. The gloss black finish is gorgeous (once all those stickers were removed) and putting it all together was a breeze. Also, I haven’t needed to put it past the first setting. It looks awesome, came well packaged, and doesn’t seem to break a sweat moving air in the California heat. Considerations: Big base -The base is painted black and is beautiful, but is sizable. Really consider space in placing this fan. It’s heavy -Stick it and leave it Noise? -it’s an industrial fan that makes you look like you’re in a glamour shot / hair commercial wherever you are in the room. Yea it’s gonna make a bit of noise -It sounds like...think riding in a prop jet plane.

This is the fan I got last summer because we don’t have air conditioning and it really does a great job. Doesn’t seem to be much difference between high medium and low that I can tell. My only complaint is the noise that such a powerful fan makes.

Super powerful without being too noisy, the perfect size I was looking for, can adjust the speed (a lot of other products didn’t have this option). I’ve been using it for the outdoors/backyard to keep me cool under the sun.

The fan seems sturdy and has a nice smooth motion. It isn't too loud either. I am using it in a warehouse situation.

Strong/powerful for outdoor use but at the same time I wish it had oscillation capabilities.
