This is a great harness for my kitten. The only part he doesn't like is that it goes over his face and head - they make ones that the cat just steps into and out wraps around - I'll get that for his adult one. But I got an XXS of this and it has for him from 3-4 lbs up to 7 lbs now, and he definitely still has plenty of room to grow - I still have all the adjustments only halfway (and it's a little loose on him). He slipped out once - he got stuck and backed out of it, but it's generally secure. I also use a 16' small-dog retractable leash with this. The buckles rest on the padding, so I'm not afraid of buckling his skin or fur into it. It's nicely padded and seems to be comfortable, and sits low on his chest - he's never in danger of choking from it.

My kitty always wanted to go outside. With living in the county, wild animals are always around. It was to big when purchases but fits now. Easy to take on and off. He starts purring when I bring it out for him to put on for our walks. It doesn't retract, you can prob add that one. Ive had this a year and half and still ib great shape. Terrific value and great quality

Like others note, the sizes seem to be bigger than you would assume though the numbers seem to be accurate. Make sure your chosen size can go smaller than your measurement to be snug, but you'll want the maximum neck to be able to go higher than your measurement since it'll need to fit over the head - in other words, don't just get the smallest size that contains your measurement because it needs to both be able to be snugged down as well as expand on the neck as wide as possible to fit on. Our cat is 11.5lb and fits in the XS! Based on the measurements, the S size would not be able to be tightened fully. She is a medium on another harness! Sizing aside, this seems like a decent harness that should be very escape resistant assuming it's sized properly. My main gripes are that the 2 buckles detach the chest plate from the back leaving you to have to squeeze the cats head through the neck hole which can't be unbuckled. This means you need to adjust the neck wide to put it on (and convince your cat to like stuffing their head in a small space) as well as needing to fiddle with the adjustment to tighten the neck again after it's on. If one of the chest buckles was moved to one side of the neck, you would be able to keep everything adjusted and just buckle up on one side making things much easier (it would instead slide on from the left or right and then buckle the neck and chest on the other side) My other gripe is that the harness overall sits very high on the chest compared to other harnesses that are longer. We want a harness to also protect against balcony falls and I'm not sure if this one would be able to distribute the force as well as others that extend lower on the chest piece. One final gripe is that the part of the chest piece that goes behind the arms (where it goes around the sides behind the arms) appears to be uncomfortable for our cat with the back of her front legs bumping into the harness. Maybe this is related to the chest part sitting so high, I'm not sure. Overall it's ok, it fits well but I think could be improved - though compared to the competition I think the gripes are relatively minor. Time will tell if our cat likes this one over others.

Make sure you measure. If it’s your cat’s first harness go gradual. The harness itself seems very durable, looks comfy! Fits well and once you and your feline buddy are use to it, adjusts easily! We love ours!! Rub your hands on it for your scent. Start with just getting over their head. Leave on for a couple minutes, take off. When I first put my harness on my cats, they lie down on the ground and acted like they couldn’t walk. Lol they are not used to having anything hugging their body so it takes him getting used to but it only took a few days for my two now when they see it and I put it on they know they’re going out.

I bought this harness in a size Small (color black) for my 12-pound tabby, and it fits her really well. The size chart is accurate. It's snug enough to feel secure, but still comfortable for her to move around easily. The material is soft and breathable, and it doesn’t bother her at all. It's easy to slip over here head and clip both sides into place. The reflective design helps with visibility. My cat absolutely loves the time outdoors! It’s been a great way for her to safely explore and get some enrichment as an indoor cat. She took to it quickly and gets so excited when I pull the leash out. The only issue is that if she walks backward while the leash is tight, she can slip out of it. I’ve found that keeping slack in the leash helps prevent that from happening. Just something to be aware of if your cat tries to back out - especially with curious or cautious cats. Overall, this is a great harness for supervised outdoor adventures. I’d definitely recommend it—with that one caution in mind.

Je l'ai acheté pour des chatons de 11 semaines. J'en ai pris qu'un pour le tester sur le plus grand des chatons. Le harnais lui va bien mais il faut attendre encore 1 semaine pour qu'il soit parfaitement adapté à sa taille. Mon chaton a 11 semaines mais il est déjà très grand et fait 2 kilos. Sa sœur, plus petite (1.4 Kg), devra attendre encore quelques semaines. En tout cas la qualité semble très bonne. Mise à jour j'ai racheté 2 autres harnais de tailles XS et S. J'ai utilisé le harnais de taille XXS pour un Chaton mais il grandit très vite et j'ai du en racheté de taille plus grande. Mon autre chaton va commencer à utiliser le 1er maintenant. Je confirme après plusieurs mois d'utilisation du premier (taille XXS) que la qualité est vraiment bonne. Il est possible d'ajuster la taille et permets une utilisation sur plusieurs mois à moins que votre chaton grandisse vite. Je recommande vraiment ce produit pour sa fonctionnalité et sa qualité. La photo montre un Chaton de 4 mois et demi de 3. 5 kilos avec le harnais de taille XS. Notez que le harnais n'était pas ajusté au mieux encore et qu'il était un peu lâché mais qu'une fois ajusté, il lui allait parfaitement.

It is a great product, good quality, it was hard to put on my cat however thats my cats fault not the products fault. He’s 8 months old and 4.5 kilos and the small is still too big on him, he easily escaped it but i guess i just need to tighten the straps more. I like the green color
