Easy to use, definitely worth my money, looks great, prefect for projects

Never did any gilding before. Used the directions just as listed and did t have any issues. Used a pair of tweezers which made it a lot easier to pick up pieces! Used it on a round planter on the top edges.

Very happy with this purchase, seals attached so no leaking. Gold & silver looks beautiful. Nice brushes, and even gloves. Good price! My first attempt at this so am excited to start. Purchased this item by reading other reviews, and the fact that they sell a huge amount of these kits i feel confident that i made the right choice. Thank you!

This is my first time ordering Gilding Flakes. These little jars (4" tall by 2.5" diameter) hold quite a bit of gilding flakes. The plastic jars have screw top lids that are easy to open. Their size is quite deceptive (like embossing powder) since you only use just a little bit of this at a time. It goes a long way! Open slowly and carefully otherwise you're going to end up with gilding flakes everywhere! Later I may get some sealing plastic containers that are bigger to store the flakes to make it easier to dip items into the flakes, rather than sprinkle the flakes on my work surface. I would suggest a mini-vacuum for easy clean up. These flakes are like feathers and the slightest air current/breath will move them around. Personally, I use a regular paint brush (house painting) as a broom for my crafting table. (3 for $1 at Dollar Tree) The first thing I did upon receipt was to put three thin strips of double sided tape on a piece of scrap and gild each of the three colors. Nice color, adhered well, just enough "shine" without being too much. You could gild a large part of a card with these and it would not be overdone! I will buy these again!

I bought this to add detail to the keychains I make and so far I have really enjoyed it! If you’re mixing it to put into a silicone mold you’ll need to mix it with whatever casting agent you’re using before putting it into the mold. If not, it will stick directly to the mold and although it can be moved around and mixed in once you add your casting agent, it is much easier to mix the two together before hand. The containers were bigger than I thought they would be and overall I am impressed by the product. My only complaint would be that the silver looks like aluminum foil if it isn’t spread out enough and it also came with a few black pieces in it (I’m not sure what they were). Altogether it’s definitely worth the price and shipping was very fast.

These have lasted me awhile. A little messy so please use thongs or whatever you call them. They will stick to your hands but very cute!

Flakes are really good quality (the colours are even, unlike some copper leaf I ordered before) and there’s absolutely loads of it. I used it to make a set of 10 nails, and you can’t even tell I’ve touched it. I can’t even open the tub properly without some escaping.
