thermopile Review: Works well. - When you need this part for your gas fireplace, and dealer doesn’t carry it - perfect. Review: Perfect replacement for Majestic DV360 - Pilot was lit, but fireplace wouldn’t fire up. Checked the thermopile and it was dead. Ordered this in New Years Day, got home from work on the 2nd and it was delivered shortly thereafter. Straightforward, easy swap out and fireplace is roaring again. I’m expecting longevity since this is only the second thermopile I’ve replaced on this 20 year old fireplace, as opposed to 4 thermocouples.

Perfect replacement for Majestic DV360

After 4 yrs it's starting to flake out, will order another.
Has worked solid for 4 years, but in the last couple of weeks, the fire will go out, tried cleaning it and that worked for a couple of days, but fire is going in and out. I'm assuming this a normal time between failures.

Had to replace the old one, this one worked perfectly. Saved me the hassle of testing thermocouples and replacing valves and igniters. Sometimes it the simple things.
