Ladies and gentlemen, you're looking at a set of x-ray glasses that look great and are large enough to fit over your existing glasses, in many cases. They are quite durable and have a bit of weight to them. The only downside is that they are a deep red tint, so it is a bit disorienting at first. The spirals are quite easy to see through. Also, these are the Science Goggles that Dr. Insano uses on the Spoony Experiment. So, if you want to look like a mad scientist... these glasses are a good base to build from.

Now these goggles are most widely used for gags and jokes I'm sure, but they are also the main part of Noah "TheSpoonyOne" Antwiler's Dr. Insano character, which is why I bought these. They are pretty cool and durable, considering I break everything I touch. Vision in them is awesome and if they had a blue lens could probably be 3-D glasses, GET ON THAT INTERNET! But all in all they are great goggles and I love the looks my family and friends give me when I wear them. 11/10!

They look true to the picture, only complaints are they are quite tight on an adult's head and they also are pretty thick/clunky.

It is fun, it is entertaining, it gets a lot of laughs too! The educational value is about on the same level as a time machine, but if you cannot have that it may as well be for fun then. Like the other reviewers, I would not recommend these whilst driving a car or bicycle though walking you may be okay. On a sunnier day it provides strange infrared look through the goggles. Can you make someone scratch their head in confusion? Certainly. Will these be a future smash hit to be seen wearing at a sporting event or concert? Possibly. Durability rating: It is plastic and will break if mishandled, but why would you mishandle such classic goggles? If you have the rubber chicken, sea monkeys, "I'm With Stupid" t-shirt, stink bombs or whoopie cushion then this is a definite as an addition to your collection. Wear them, wear them proud!

As expected they don't do what they are supposed to. You can't see through anything they just add some swirly lines on top of what you are seeing. However, other people don't know this, so fun can still be had.

I got this for my husband chocolate theme party. We did a tour to a cacao farm, and we asked our guests to go with something crazy because he was turning 28 and in my country there's a mental hospital located in the 28 km of one of the main avenues. I got this to relate it with Willy Wonka, and it was super cool. I tried it on and I could walk with it without trouble, because you can easily see through it. The quality is good so I totally recommend it.

Rip off! Te look good, but change nothing you see. Buy the X Ray Spex instead.

The photos in this listing are spot on -- what you see is what you'll get. These were bought for a "mad scientist" type Halloween costume. The glasses are sturdy and I had no worries of them breaking half way through the night. They fit well, and I had problems with them slipping or sliding. Importantly for those of us who wear glasses, the lenses are quite large, like goggles, and my glasses easily fit inside, so I could wear them both at the same time, no problem. The pinwheel design on the lenses does interfere with vision, but not so badly that you can't see where you're going, etc. I wouldn't drive them, mind you, but I was able to walk around without crashing into things. They are tinted, so you might have problems in low-light conditions.
