They have a decently fine tip, so writing with them comes out very clear. The tip is pretty strong, so the fine tip will last a while. They wrote very smoothly and didn't catch on either type of paper (black cardstock, white stone paper). They dried fairly quickly. Once dry they didn't smudge on the cardstock at all, but they did smear slightly on the stone paper (though that's hardly surprising, very few writing implements don't smear on this type of paper). The colors are solidly opaque, and have a good amount of shimmer in the ink. The light purple pen didn't show up super well on the black cardstock, but I have absolutely no other complaints about the visibility on either paper. There's a good variety of shades. I can't speak to how long the ink lasts yet, but overall I'm extremely satisfied with all of the pens. Review: Metallic pens - Love these gel metallic pens. They are interesting colors and they don't bleed through like you might think. Green is just a bit darker green, and red is maroon, love how the colors are just a bit different!

Good quality but not labeled correctly
I love how smooth these are. Most of the colors pop with vibrancy. I have three problems. 1- one of the pens lost part of the paint in the cap before I ever opened it. 2- I don’t have all the colors listed. For example, I find no orange but I have two champagne. 3- none of the pens have the colors written on them. You have to use the guide on the back (pic attached) which is wasteful since the colors printed on the box don’t always match the pen. So, is the print wrong or the pen wrong?

Excellent Product
Exceeded my expectations! Everything about this purchase was excellent! Price, delivery, presentation, quality and usage were all perfect! I used them to personalize some glasses and was able to complete all of them with no issues. Each stroke was smooth and even; with no smearing or globing. Each pen stroke dried quickly and evenly and the bold colors lasted the entire project without any changes in quality!

Works great!
I was looking for a product for my church class to make painted rocks for an visual aid. In reading the reviews I was concerned because some reviewers had received dried paint pens. When I got them I immediately tried each pen on a black river rock like the ones I am using on Sunday. Each worked well. They won't last too long, each one is slender with a fine point but the price is right.

Not Again!
If you were to look up "starving artist" in the urban dictionary, you may see my picture with a couple of comments about not appearing starved or to have missed too many meals, but the truth is, good art supplies are expensive and so are not so good supplies. A lot of effort and expectation go into my supplies orders. The makers came in a clean, but damaged box, having an unnatural perforation down the center of the box. It took some work to get the markers free from the tape used in the repack. The pens themselves were cosmetically damaged on the outside surface, but nothing major. Dark smudging on the otherwise white tubes, slight fraying on pre-owned tips. Overall, condition was fine but this set was obviously put together from pieces of other sets. All dark markers. Duplicates of up to 3 of the same color in the pack of 15. 2 grey, 3 drk green; and 4 other varying shades of green. No pink; red; purple or orange with exception of 1 burgundy and 1 that looks like a dark pumpkin. Functionally, they're fine. Color variety isvery disappointing, but i suppose i should be grateful they aeent dried out, which has been the case more than once. Markers should have a mfg date/best by date stamp. I will just look for a retailer with a better rating and start over because i know if I complain, i'll hear sorry in a tone as if they had no idea that this piecemeal box should be clearance at best. I'll be invited to exchange or return and Ill wait for a label. When I can get to it, i'll finally ship them back and wait another 3 weeks to see if my return passes return inspection and for my refund too post, if it does. I'll get over it even though its not ok and I won't want to call or fight to not pay return shipping and again when part of the refund is absorbed or applied to a ridiculous restocking fee. Meanwhile, I'll use the dark outiners to doodle while on the phone or to make shopping lists that may include "buy markers". I need to finish projects and its a shame i have no passion for creating dark, gloomy jungle landscapes. So, bottom line...I'd recommend the markers. I wouldn't recommend buainess with the seller.
