Loved it! Cupcakes came out great!!
We did a Nerf themed birthday party for my son and wanted to try this out. I am not a baker, and I am not a crafty person. This was pretty easy to use. I cut about 1.25” off the tip of the pastry bag, rolled the bag all the way down, and then pushed the frosting tip through. There are little grips on the side to hold the bag in place. It clipped together pretty easy and then I filled it with frosting after putting it together. Squeezing out the frosting gave me multiple hand cramps but it was worth it. I used Walton’s buttercream white frosting that I bought on Amazon with it and the Wilton gel dye. Also picked up the cupcake toppers on Amazon, too. Overall I’m pleased with it, and the 13 yr old kids even said the cake was ‘cool’. Would definitely buy again.

Fun and relatively easy product for a beginner!
This product worked wonderfully well for me - a complete novice decorator. I wanted to create a tie dye themed cupcake for my sons' birthday party and ordered this product after reading the reviews. Never having piped frosting before, I was nervous, but the outcome was adorable. Like previous reviewers have mentioned, the set up does take some patience. Certainly make sure to couple the bags together before filling them with your frosting. I did have a minor setback when I had to re-load some frosting into the bags halfway through and that created some air bubbles; nothing a little extra frosting couldn't fix! I'll be using this again for sure.

Beautiful.Decorating Made easy
This was so easy to use three colors for my Italian butter cream frosting on my cupcakes! This will be for our wedding. I don't know about using only two colors But fiance said they looked beautiful! Some people said they had problems with it but I did not. Beautiful end results!!

Hard to use
The first time I used this, I wasn't clear on the instructions & cut off too much of the bag, so the tip popped out & icing squirted everywhere. I cut off a much smaller tip the second time, but the coupler is really, really hard to screw on. With both attempts when I tried alone, one of the bags ended up popping out. In order to finally get it to work, I held the bags while my son screwed on the coupler. It took a lot of muscle to squeeze out the icing (I used regular store bought icing, I don't know if another kind would have been easier). The first batch I was trying to swirl chocolate, peanut butter & vanilla with the included round tip. Since the vanilla popped out, I was left with just chocolate & PB icing that looked remarkable like a the poop emoji. I used the star tip the second time with blue, gray & white icing and they turned out much better.

Works Perfectly!
I have no idea why other people have had problems with this - if you follow the directions, it works great! I assembled it with no problems, made some fresh buttercream frosting, and it required relatively little effort to extrude. The directions tell you to assemble the device with the bags before you put any frosting in them and make sure that the three nozzles are keyed together correctly - otherwise, the threads don't line up and I doubt that they will even fit together flush like they are supposed to. I feel like store-bought icing is too viscous to be used with this device - I've always found those very difficult to work with in general. Freshly made buttercream at room temperature worked great for me - I just rolled the bags up together at the top like a kayaking dry bag, and the look and consistency of the final product was perfect on the first try (photo attached). The directions do say that you can use just two nozzles, but this doesn't make any sense to me - of course the frosting is going to come out the path of least resistance, so partially through the tip and partially backwards through the third nozzle. This just seems like common sense to me.
