Everyone with a boy toddler needs a few Jake the pirate toy to play with in their collection of ships and accessories. Kids love Jake and the whole fantasy of pirates and Captain Hook.

Fun toy! My 3 1/2 year old really loves it and now wants all the other characters!

My son loves this, its very sturdy and has survived my son nicely.

I received this toy free from houseparty/chatterbox in exchange for my review, however my opinions are my own. I have 2 Jake fans, boys ages 3&5. Honestly, their favorite part is the barrel that opens to show the treasure. The Jake doll itself is much bigger than we expected - he is really too large to work well with the Bucky ship they already own (wr have Bucky, the Jolly Roger, and smaller figures that go with those). The boys ended up playing a game where they used this big Jake with their little Jake and they had big Jake being the day of the little Jake. I'd say that they like the toy, but it would probably work out better if we had 2 figures, like maybe the Jake and the Hook.

I was surprised at the size of this toy. It is much bigger than the other Jake toys, but he it great for my 4 year old. It was nice that the toy actually worked the way it is intended to work; many toys don't ever work the way they are advertised. With this toy, the sword fits in Jake's hand and when his arm goes down and hits the barrel, the barrel actually opens up! My son was so excited every time he hit the barrel and it opened to reveal the treasure! This toy is great and I definitely see more purchases in the future! #Gotitfree
