Mungyo MPHM-60P Gallery Artists' Handmade Soft Pastels Portrait Shades - 60 Artists' Quality Crayons Hand Rolled Soft Texture

I wasn't sure what I was getting for colors in this set of 60. Colors are bright and lovely to work with. Not as soft or crumbly as Sennelier. Blends well, mid soft to soft. Comparable size to other brands. Good base set. Browns and reds are a little scratchy and dry but that is not uncommon for those colors in many brands with those pigment to binder ratios. Color options are great for under paintings, shadows, backgrounds, and diverse skin tones. I will augment this set with a handful of very light values for younger people, lighter skin tones and ambient lighting effects... Just a few. The seller was a pleasure btw. Solid option if you don't have millions to spend. Can't speak to light fastness or toxicity... I assume it's similar to all brands and pigments.

These Pastels are Wonderful, after reading many reviews I narrowed it down and purchased these. They are beautiful saturated colors, smooth and buttery and fit nicely in your hand while creating, they are amazing...

Similar to Unison, a bit harder though. I don't use sanded papers so some of the colors are hard to get onto regular pastel paper. I first bought a set of 60, and knocked half of the box over, breaking at least 15 sticks, so I bought the set of 100. I'm very happy with it and the wood box is great. They take care with packing and shipping. Great value if you want to buy a set and then add on with individual sticks in colors and brands that you may want to add to this.

Love the vibrancy of the colors and smoothness of these pastels. I use in mixed media projects. Very pleased with these soft pastels. Great value for the price. Very happy with my purchase.

I am disappointed in these pastels as I was expecting them to be much softer and buttery as many described. JA

Careful! Despite the name of the item, I did not receive the Portrait Set colors set, just the regular colors set. I like the quality of this brand, but these are not the colors I needed or ordered.

Not my favorite. I prefer softer patels ; these are firm and I will need to get used to them. There is a huge selection in this collection.

Lovely soft pastels that blend beautifully

Habituellement, j'utilise uniquement des pastels Sennelier, Unison, Schmincke ou Girault. Ils sont parmi les meilleurs, il y en a d'autres mais je ne peux les avoir tous. J'avais choisi cette boite en me disant qu'au pire, il seraient bien pour faire les fonds, ensuite, je pourrais travailler dessus avec mes pastels tendres. J'ai été très surpris par la qualité des pastel Mungyo. Ils sont très tendres, se rapprochant de ceux cités plus haut et parfaitement lumineux. Du coup, pourquoi payer le double un produit si ceux-ci conviennent parfaitement a mon loisir. Très sincèrement, je ne saurais trop vous conseiller de les testé, vous risqueriez de beaucoup les apprécier. Livraison rapide et soigné. Que du +++++

No los he probado aún pero siendo Mungyo son buenos seguro, los colores son preciosos. Han llegado en perfecto estado.

Fantastic soft pastels for the price. I love them. They're lovely and buttery to use a beautiful selection of colours and are as good as most of the top brand sof pastels that are double the price of these. I will definitely purchase them again.

Utilizo una gran variedad de marcas de pasteles suaves y estos hechos a mano son de gran calidad y excelente precio. Solo que en el catalogo que ofrecen en Amazon especifica que son para retrato y le envían a uno la selección general lo cual no es nada satisfactorio, pues si es notoria la variedad de colores comparado con los ofrecidos en una selección general o bien una de paisaje.
