Alpecin 2-Pack Caffeine Shampoo C1

In the last few years my hair has started to gradually thin. I was looking for reasonable ways to slow or stop the process and have tried several shampoos that allege to stop hair loss or regrow hair. My overall favorite is Ultrax Labs "Hair Surge Caffeine Hair Loss Growth Stimulating Shampoo" but it is extremely expensive. While looking for more reasonably priced alternatives I came upon Alpecin CI Caffeine Shampoo and I really like it. I can't honestly claim that I have seen noteworthy hair regrow or a lustrous mane of hair sprout from my scalp, but I can say that my hair seems fuller and I notice less hair being shed since using this shampoo. The product is made in Germany and comes in a 250 ml bottle of an unusual shape. I only mention the shape of the bottle because the plastic is rather thick, and when you get close to the end of the bottle it is difficult to squeeze effectively to get the balance of the shampoo out. Note that it is available in single and two-bottle packs and that buying two is normally the better deal. Application is simple and similar to other caffeine shampoos: rub it in well then leave it on for two minutes then rinse. The product has a pleasant neutral scent and lathers very well. There are definitely more expensive caffeine shampoos on the market, but Alpecin C1 works as well (or nearly as well, anyway) as the other products I have used at a very reasonable price. I think this is a very good product and a great value. I am reordering more.

I LOVE THIS SHAMPOO. IT WORKS JUST AS DESCRIBED. RESULTS CAN TAKE 6 MONTHS TO SEE REAL HAIR GROWTH. I ACTUALLY DO NOT HAVE TO THINK OF HAIR LOSS EVER AGAIN. I’M 72 WITH A FULL HEAD OF HAIR. EVEN MY FRONT WIDOWS PEAK IS BACK…I ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO REASON TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE. YOU’D NUTS NOT TO GET THIS SHAMPOO.

I am now on my second bottle and can state that this product aggressively and robustly stimulates hair growth. Fighting hair loss is a daily battle-- just like staying fit is-- and for this reason Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo is a wonderful resource for defending your hair. You are important, and your hair is an important part of who you are. Women know this, and men should know this too. So take care of your hair! As the directions read, do take at least two minutes for the caffeine to absorb into your scalp. I even recommend three minutes to let it really sink in before you rinse. Don't rush it, gentlemen. In addition, it's impressive that something that works so effectively can smell so good. No, it's not magic, but it might be the best shampoo you can use to protect and nourish your hair. Alpecin helps men.

This shampoo, along with a quality Maui conditioner, has slowed down my hair loss significantly. From clumps in the shower every day to just a few strands in my brush. My hair has never looked so healthy and felt so clean. Some areas along my hairline have actually started to regrow hair!!

This is a fantastic product, I'm so happy with the results that I'll never bother with another brand again! Purchased in hopes it would stop (or slow) my hair from thinning. I have been using for about 1 month and I would say that I notice a difference. Hair seems firmer and like it is more anchored in or something. Before I started to use this product if it ran my fingers through my hair to massage and lather I would shed a bunch of hairs and my head would feel almost numb or something. Now it feels like it used to. I can scratch my head and instead of the numb/tickly feeling, it just feels it should. I can only describe it as though the shampoo seems to have "re-activated" my hair follicles that were slowly being choked out or something. I haven't noticed new growth or anything like that, but I just feel like it hasn't thinned any more either. And when I shower there is definitely not as much hair going down the drain. In addition to this, I've been using Nizoral once every 4 days. Perhaps it is the combination of the two, but so far the results are positive. I would recommend based on my experience so far.
