I used these dvds to record several movies and they worked very well. I would buy this brand again. I’m very happy with my purchase.

TL;DR: I had to break and toss like 4 discs because the converting software I was using wouldn't work. I've been converting old home movies on VHS to digital and making DVDs as backups, but I've had a hell of a time googling software to do it. The dvds themselves are fine. The boxes were damaged upon arrival. One was even opened with the cases falling out of it, but the discs and cases are all in good shape regardless. I hate that every DVD in a case is individually wrapped in cellophane. It makes for a ton of waste. Perhaps it would behoove the manufacturer to wrap the outer box with it instead to prevent the product from falling out. The full story: I have VCL player, which could do the converting and burning of the discs, but you need to know how to do a little bit of coding, which is something I'm not comfortable with. Freemake video converter is absolutely crap even tough it's like the 1st hit on google that's not an ad. It's also listed in a bunch of recommendation tech articles. 🙄 Even the paid version crashes on me. Their customer service is non-existent, and I'm fighting to get my money back right now. Handbrake is free, and wouldn't work for me either. Movavi will convert your video files, but good luck finding something to burn the disc with that works. It also adds watermarks to the video unless you pay. I have no idea why my DVD drive will not recognize the discs to burn them in file explorer on win10 like they're supposed to. fml. Windows media player will burn discs in virtually any format, but would not run on my over 10 y/o DVD player. DVDFLICK was the one thing that worked. Easy to understand UI; Totally free with no watermarking; Easy to follow instructions provided with it, and it works with a no-frills stand-alone standard def. DVD player. I can't believe it was this hard to find a program to do this. Google is falling apart as a search engine I swear.

These did exactly what I wanted them to do. I was transferring video from an old computer with no dvd burner to CDs and it was taking too many CDs. I got up to 12 CDs full and then realized one of my videos was too long to put on one of the CDs and I had CDs with the max amount of space you can write to a CD. I had to switch to DVD to get more space. The old computer would not burn DVDs so I had to set up sharing between my laptop and the old computer. I accessed my videos (vacation to Germany) on the old computer and burned them to the DVD on my laptop and it took only 3 DVDs. They worked great and play on my tvs etc.

I just received this well priced Verbatim product. Having used Verbatim for all my recording tasks I can say that their product performs well. What suprised me on opening this box dvd-r 95099 I found that the discs are dvd-r 95093. I looked on the Verbatim website and found that both were the same retail price. The specs were identical. I am satisfied with Verbatim and trust that this batch will continue to serve my needs well

Outer box was obliterated. However the dvds were ok. I havent used them yet but ill update when i do UPDATE: they work. Just fine.

I can't help but think that the seller was SO jazzed when someone actually wanted DVD-Rs in August of 2020. My wife pulled out one of her DVDs the other night. It's kind of a bootleg copy of "The Legend of BIllie Jean" that looks like it was burned from a VHS recording. The video quality is very bad. Well, my 10 year old saw it and decided that he wants to rip the movie from the internet and burn his mommy a better copy of the movie. So he demanded DVD-Rs. And here we are. Backstory aside, these are perfectly adequate and come individually wrapped with slim cases. Pretty convenient.

I have used upto 8 discs from the pack and all worked well.
