these patches really grip the crud in your barrels making cleaning quicker. they are a perfect tight fit and well constructed. also zero lint left behind. these are now my only go to patches i will use.

Best patch I've EVER used. No lint, strong and the texture helps with cleaning. Perfect size for .22

Not the traditional cotton patch that tend to fray, leave lint and require using infinite amount patches before one comes through clean. Yes, they are made of a paper material, but have a waffle texture, are absorbable and do a much better job of cleaning and removing debris. I find I use less than half of these patches to get a clean barrel vs the cotton type....and zero threads/lint to deal with.

Got these for my .223 and I've been very happy with them. I've also used them on a few .22's. Another reviewer said they were too thick. He probably was using more than one. It's very difficult at first to separate them. I thought the same thing at first, then I realized that I was using 2 that were still stuck together.

I’ve always relied on using cotton swabs to do the cleaning and oiling mainly because I’ve felt that cleaning patches are too expensive. I found this 1k pack and was pretty pleased at the value. The patches are also great quality. The woven texture is somewhat rough and robust. Does not fall apart or produce lint like cotton swabs do. Very pleased. Should last me quite a while but I will certainly be getting more when I run low.

These are great patches, kind of porous and very absorbent. They are the proper size and a nice snug fit with a jag. I knocked down the star count a bit because they are all stuck together in little "pillows". You have to kind of crush the pillow and then finger pick the individual patches apart. A bit of a bother every time I use them, and with all the patches they give you I'll be using them for a long time <BG>. Still, recommended, they are excellent patches.

Perfect size for my .22, don't need to cut or trim.
