I bought this to help with creating small crafts for Halloween but it's been helpful for far more than I expected. I was trying to cut a hole in a plastic tote and found it to be a rather difficult task. Blasting it with this heat gun softened the material making my knife move through the tote like butter. It's lightweight, isn't very loud and, small enough to use comfortably. If used correctly, does not overheat. It's perfect for projects and my only regret is not buying one sooner.

I have been using this in crafts since I got it in, and it works very well. It might not work for long periods at a time, but I haven't needed to find out. What I do know is it gets plenty hot to use it from a distance from the target, and is easy to hold onto, and find a home for on my crowded workspace.

Product is decent, I didn't know what to expect. I usually use a hair dryer and let's say that this is a little more convenient except I didn't have that much luck with easing up adhesive. It's very convenient and does what it's supposed to maybe I am just impatient and wanted to get that screen off. I ended up cracking the screen that now I have to replace.

The Heat gun works as advertised. Pretty good deal for the price

Works in about everything. You can melt any material to the shape you want. I bought this mainly for heat shrinking tubing but found myself heating and reshaping ALL kind of plastic material, from water pipes to sun glasses to custom made computer parts etc, etc. The setting on high can actually melt any material except metal or glass, the lower setting can help you remove bumper stickers or glued paper. Its super effective on removing and replacing cell phones screens and even repair scratches on plastic surfaces. My wife and I use it in infinite materials. Another item I can't live without it

Must have for anyone that crafts! I use for my cticut.. When I have vinyl that has bubbles.. I'd to adhere to something rounded! It's a piece EVERYONE could use... It's one of the first things you should buy! Must have!!!

It is surprisingly not bad, it does what it is meant to do. Two settings and convenient to store after use. The wire itself is quite short though.
