Cross Stitch Mini Motifs: Vintage

This is a nice cross stitch pattern book with a HUGE variety of designs. There is an even mix of "mini" designs (approximately 1"h x 2"w) and small/medium designs (up to approximately 7"h x 5"w) and make great cards, miniature framed art pieces/collages, or even stitch several designs on one cloth to create a sampler. The designs are pretty easy to read, although the color coding for backstitch is so small/thin that sometimes it is impossible to decipher which color is to be used (that can be determined though by looking at a master list of DMC colors to find coordinating colors for the pattern, easily narrowing down what matches). The designs are simple enough for the beginner, being easy to read/easy & quick to stitch, and cute/chic enough for the experienced stitcher to whip up a few for a variety of applications in very little time. I recommend this book as it is a great value for the number of patterns and uniqueness of the designs.

Perfect little book of adorable designs

Awesome collection of mini projects perfect for a variety of themes. Great for quickly finished items. Book received in excellent condition.

Love all the mini-motifs in this book by Susan Bates. I highly recommend it lots of choices and a quick stitch.

Celui-ci est mon préféré de la collection. J'ai déjà réalisé de nombreuses cartes pour diverses occasions. Boîte à ouvrage, chapeaux, bicyclette ... selon mon humeur et les goûts de la personne à qui faire plaisir.

I really like this book. Beautiful designs, ranging from sewing items to vintage clothing (Edwardian/Victorian style shoes and hats), cinema items - film reels, etc. A few dogs, flowers - just delightful. Each design is shown as a stitched design too. the items are stitched on evenweave I think in the book - I only use aida, but by using a smaller count aida, the designs still look 'delicate'

este es el segundo que compro de esta autora y tengo que decir que me ha decepcionado mucho tanto el anterior como este. En la portada parece mas bonito que lo que es y los motivos no son nada originales
