Updating my rating. I contacted BioGaia to better understand the dosage since I was getting less than half the recommended dosages. They were very responsive and let me know 5 drops is equivalent to .18ml. As I was putting my drops into a syringe to easily give to my newborn, I knew I was using .3ml each day. I am reducing my drops (drop size may very based on temperature of your home or due to other variants). I love this product, it’s helped my newborn tremendously. The fact that customer service got back to me so quickly and helped me adjust the amount to an accurate dose was beyond helpful. Original Post: This product has helped my newborn a lot, she is able to pass gas more easily (root as much pain) and is spitting up much less. I’m giving 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 due to the servings, I’m very diligent about accurately measuring out 5 drops each day, I got about 22 days worth which is half of the stated servings, making it over a $1 per daily use.

These drops have been a life-changing addition to my baby’s daily routine! At my daughter’s pediatrician’s office, we were given samples of BioGaia and decided to take home two bottles. The very first time we used it, she slept for 8 hours straight. Before this, during her newborn phase, she was only sleeping for 2–3 hours at a time and would wake up multiple times throughout the night. Since we started using these drops, she hasn’t experienced any spit-ups or colic. It has greatly improved her digestive health.

My daughter is using this product for my grandson, who has colic pretty badly. We were really struggling and trying to help him feel better, but even the doctor’s recommendations didn’t help. Once I ordered these, we started seeing a remarkable improvement in the baby. He still has his fussy moments, but I’d say it’s resolved his colic to about 50% less of how bad it was before starting him on these drops. He is currently seven weeks old and we have been using these for about two or three weeks. He’s found a lot of relief, which helps my daughter and her husband get more peace. I’d say if your baby is struggling with colic, try this product!

This probiotic has helped both my babies with their colic. It is super easy to use, does not smell, and has great quality.

We’ve been using these supplements for about a year now. I think they help my son to not only get vitamin d but also help his gut health!

Estas gotas me han parecido super buenas para los colicos de mi bebé, excelente producto. Ya por otra parte tuve que ordenarla 3 veces por que los repartidores de Amazon las dos primeras veces dejaron mis pedidos en la puerta de afuera del edificion sin timbrar ni llamarme y se las robaron, vivo en una zona donde no se pueden dejar paquetes en la calle y aunque tengo en las instrucciones de entrega el que por favor timbre y se les abrirá la puerta para que la dejen en el pasillo del primer piso, como que a ellos no les importa. Lo bueno fue que Amazon hizo las devoluciones, me preocupaba que no me hicieran las devoluciones ya que era la 2da vez que la solicitaba pero todo bien al final la ultima repartidora timbro y las dejo adentro.

I have mixed feeling about this. On one hand, it is very convenient because it combines Probiotic and Vitamin D. The dropper is easy to use for newborn. On the other hand, I dont see big difference in my baby behavior. He still has some gas and fussiness. Maybe it works for other babies, but for my son, it is just okay. Also, be careful with shipping. It is heat sensitive so I worry about the quality when delivered in hot weather. 3 stars for ingredients, but effectiveness is hit or miss

It is an excellent product, necessary for babies on those days when they have gas and their stomach is a little extended, it also contains vitamin D which is necessary, it helped my baby a lot with prolonged use!!

I started my son on this at 5 weeks old after he had to take antibiotics for five days due to an ear infection. The antibiotics triggered colic, but these probiotici have stabilised his gut. Colic passed quickly and he's still taking them now as they help to prepare his stomach for solids soon. Also a great dose of vitamin D for breastfed babies.
