Thank goodness I read many reviews that said they run small. I purchased an XXL. It's a bit large on me who is 5'7"/180, but fits my hubby who is 5'10/200 perfectly. We just bought one to share as there is only one of us that has to walk out to the chicken coop or other buildings in a rain storm. We're both tickled to finally have a nice long raincoat. This raincoat goes down to just above our shoes. It's sure not thin either. I wouldn't say it's heavy, maybe medium weight is a good way to sum it up, but it seems sturdy, not one that's going to stretch or rip with normal wear. We figured out it's got a quick/partial snap method for just running outside quick, or a complete snap method if it's nasty out or going to be out for long. It also has two snaps in the back, one just below the butt and the other closer to the bottom so if you were going to be sitting in a car, you could unsnap those two. The collar is nice and feels like its fabric. It has a snap at each wrist in case you wanted to make a cuff, or tighten it up. The hat I snapped on easily. It fits well and looks great too. All in all, this is a great raincoat! We both are very pleased.

Overall a great product at an awesome price. I really like the chaps option too. I recommend getting two sizes larger than what you wear for clothing size, that way you can wear it over layers or a jacket say and still have room to move around without popping the snaps open whenever you bend or turn or sit down. The overlapping snap system is easy if you snap the inward-facing snaps first on the right side to the left side and then snap the left side to the right side it provides a waterproof and windproof seal that works superbly! I gave it four stars because they do not tell you this anywhere in the product description AND having ordered several different sizes my biggest disappointment with this product is the detachable hood. It barely fits over my head and I have a very small hat size (7 1/8 US). The point on top (like a dunce cap cone) is non functional and makes the hood ride up off your head and it fills up with air like a balloon and blows off in the rain AND AND AND NO MATTER WHAT SIZE JACKET YOU BUY THE HOODS ARE ALL THE SAME SIZE THAT COMES WITH A SMALL SIZED RAINCOAT!!!! Whoever made this jacket obviously did not think this part through even a little bit. I ordered every size they have and every one of them has the same sized hood. SO, if you do not need a hood to protect your head from rain or sleet or snow then this jacket is for you!

This is a great rain jacket. I am outside in the rain and with my other coats the rain would seep through or they weren't long enough and my pants would get soaked. This jacket has eliminated that. I was skeptical initially since it seemed very flimsy both with the snaps and material, but the first time out I didn't get wet. There is little vents in it, so don't expect it to keep you warm (I thought I was getting wet because of the drafts). It has snaps around the sleeves to make them tighter around your wrist, but my wrist are small, so it didn't help me a lot. The hood is large and keeps your face from getting wet. I bought a large as I am a larger woman hoping it would fit my mid section. It does. The only problem I have is if I have to lean down the buttons come undone. Maybe an xtra large would have been better. I can't use the snaps to make them pants (again maybe the next size up). So far this has been exactly what I needed and I have gotten many compliments.

To give reference, I am female, 5'4", 184 pds, and my occupation is a Lvl 3 Officer. I got the Tall Large and the length sits perfectly on top of my feet. The arms fall just under my knuckles with my arms down. Not tight and flows well when I walk. The hoodie fits right. It does have some weight to it. I haven't used it in rainy weather yet, but it's coming, just trying to get prepared for it. Will do an update when it happens. But overall I'm very happy with the purchase, it's function for my professional life and personal life (fishing, etc), and I would recommend to others. Update (October 2023): I was able to use it in stormy weather. It held up incredibly. My only dislike is that it doesn't have "inside pockets". I hope I'm saying that correctly. Like, a slit, in the pocket to get or reach things on my belt. But other than that, no leaks, no issues, all dry 👍🏾 would recommend

This raincoat is quite long and reasonably waterproof, both important aspects in keeping a body dry in the rain. Unfortunately, there is also much to be desired. It feels cheaply manufactured, both in materials and quality: a frayed seam here or there, a somewhat uncomfortable fit, especially around the shoulders, and a system of snaps I can't quite figure out that seems to offer too much ventilation and too little in regards to keeping the raincoat fully clothed. It'll do in a pinch, but I can't hide my disappointment at expecting something much better.

Fits perfect

Comfortable, waterproof raincoat. I went fishing in rainy weather on purpose. I spent more than 4 hours fishing and my clothes stayed dry! The raincoat is so long that the water ran off the raincoat right onto the ground. The quality is excellent, the material is strong. I recommend this raincoat to everyone who likes to be outdoors in rainy weather.

Best raincoat for working around farm!!

Many people are confused about the buttons, but I'm confused at why they are confused. It seemed pretty simple and straightforward to me. Nothing seemed out of place and I immediately recognized that it is that way because it can be done up from both sides like standard male/female clothing. Do not worry about that in purchasing this product. Its well made, thick, and looks good too. I'm 6'3" and it was almost at my ankles being a perfect height. I actually managed to go biking for an hour in the rain with this on. It worked perfect and kept my lap covered and dry which usually doesn't happen biking in a long raincoat. It also stayed up and away from my gears/chain wile still biking properly. I was surprised at how nice this coat was. Buy it!
