My remote for ceiling fan wasn’t always working. It was frustrating removing batteries and playing with remote to get fan to work. Replacement remote works great!

This remote lasted less than a year, in fact it only lasted 7 months. Had to change out the batteries to new, and now the display is currently on with every option on the display LCD showing. Pressing buttons will not change and readout on the display, and the fan only turns on and off at one speed as well as the light. Taking out the batteries or turning the power on and off to the fan does not correct this situation, and this remote is now useless. Remotes should last longer than seven months.

This remote works on my 15 yr old plus Hampton Bay fan. Transmitter is inside the fan and I originally thought that was what I was gonna have to replace. Saw a review were all you needed was a new remote. So I bought this, and it works great. Nothing wrong with the transmitter, it was the remote the whole time. A lot cheaper than buying and installing a new fan. Easy fix for older fans.

This is perfect! I didn’t know they had replacements for the remotes, my husband found it. We need a new really bad as our old one was either not shutting off or going on no matter what! Not even with new batteries. So happy, if needed again will definitely buy again 😊

My original hampton bay ceiling fan remote stopped working due to battery terminal corrosion. Found this replacement verified the fan option as indicated in order to work and matched the code placed batteries and it worked perfectly. Lights and all modes.
