Haru Kaido hasn't had the easiest life. After losing his father and step-mother in a tragic accident, he's struggled to keep himself afloat. As he starts getting used to working as a host and being on his own, an eccentric teen appears claiming to be his other brother—adopted by his estranged mother in Canada. Even stranger, he talks about a late summer they spent together five years ago, before the accident. The memories are hazy, but something is there…something familiar. Now, with Ren coming into his life, Haru is struggling to bring his family together while dealing with strong feelings he's developed for the other. Obstinate and even feral at times, Ren proves to be a unique challenge but also a light in Haru's life. Can they figure out what's in their hearts, or is this one dysfunction the family can't handle?Bonus Content:Disc 1 - Super Lovers The Complete Series: Textless Songs Review: Great price - Was pleased to find this for such a good deal. Review: PG-13 version of Boku no Pico - Cute "sort of slice of life" show about a couple of adopted brothers getting to know each other after the older one gets amnesia. The main character is a sweet guy, if a bit of a worrying, pouty, overdramatic type at times. The youngest one is a quiet, stoic, slightly bratty type who just wishes people would say what they mean and stop pussyfooting around, which leads to most of the conflict in the series here. Lots of misunderstandings and lack of communication which leads to overdramatic moments. Overall its sweet, cute, kinda warms your heart a bit.

This anime is funny and sweet it does have a big age gap if that's something that bothers you turn away from this anime. It's nothing gross just not for everyone.

After reading the description, I double checked the protagonists ages on several websites, to make sure this wasn't uncomfortably inappropriate, and given the reviews here, I thought I'd give it a try (all the sites I visited said the younger partner was 16 to the older's 22). However, upon watching it, there is episodal evidence that it is a 10 year age gap instead of 6 (the older has a 24th bday in season 2 after the younger has been in Japan about a year; which means the 6 years ago they met he would have been 18; also, the younger shows up and goes to middle school in season one and only high school in season 2, he also mentions being 8 the summer they met in another episode). I kept watching because I've already paid for the bluesy, plus I kept hoping I was mistaken about the youngster's age and they were closer in age. I wish I hadn't, because not only was the older guy kissing the kid on the lips when he was like 13 to his 23, but there is also implications of heavy petting/touching and there was also a scene where the older is drunk and molested the younger. There are also multiple scenes where the younger VERY CLEARLY says, 'don't touch me,' and the older doesnt listen very well. I'm conclusion, THERE SHOULD BE AN UNDERAGE WARNING CLEARLY IN THE DESCRIPTION, and if they're being strict, there should also be a dubious consent warning; because most anime/manga fans will know what those tags mean and anyone gifting this to someone else can look them up.
