Still The Best
Still the best in my book for close to 10 years now I think. I have tried them all. I ride hard pack, loose, rocks, roots, occasional sand, and very little mud (only when I can't avoid it). Climb great, confident fast turns and breaking (with lower pressures). As for cost... reasonable for this level of tire. For reference, I run 26x2.1 rear and 26x2.35 front, and terrains I ride throughout the year include north and central Texas, Santa Fe/Taos New Mexico, Vail area Colorado, and south Tahoe Nevada/California. Both front and rear tires are 5-10 pounds over minimum pressure. Yes, people complain they not fast on concrete, and it's reue... but then, THEY ARE NOT ROAD TIRES! Do you want an off road tires to grip off road, or on road. Can't have both successfully. :) Some complain about them being out of round. I've seen that, but it just means they aren't seated. Nevegal's are tight fitting tires, especially on beefier wheels. Use a little soapy water on the bead (tubeless or with tubes) when you put 'em on, and no more out of round every time!

Great DH tire
This is a great downhill tire if you don't mind the weight or drag. Excellent if you live close to a bike park since you won't be pedaling up. I weigh 225lbs and ride aggressively so, for me having a hard, fat tire with lots of surface area is more important than the extra weight or drag that the tire may bring to the equation. It grips ok in a variety of surfaces from hard packed dirt to deep mud.Great value compared to Michelin's "wild gripper decent" and they are basically the same tire.

Awesome tire for rocky/sandy trails
I read the reviews and they make some great remarks. One thing you have to take into account is the type of trail you are riding on. I am currently riding in the rocky/sandy desert of El Paso, so I was looking for a tire that had tall, widely spaces knobs. As a result, I thought the WTC Velociraptor would be a good choice. I was constantly getting flats due to the rockiness of the trail, not to mention the thorns and other things of the desert. A lot of the riders that rode past me as AI sat on the side of the trail changing my tubes RAVED about how great the tubless system was. So I decided to check into a tire that met my criteria. Now that I finally rode the Kenda Nevegal 26x2.35 tires and I actually had LESS rolling resistance. I was blazing through the trails! Even the sandy areas that would swollow up my Raptor tires, which were 26x2.1, these tires floated right over! Bottom line, I would HIGHLY recommend these tires to anyone riding in the same type of terrain I ride in. However, I would have to agree with the reviewers that complain about the rolling resistance if I was riding on a dirt trail. In which case I would probably recommend the Kenda Slant-6.

My favorite tire I keep coming back to year after year
I sample a few different tires each year and each year nothing beats the Nevegal. With all the riding I do all over Utah and Colorado I have yet to find a better tire. The Nevegal has incredible traction across a broad range of terrain, it's durable, it works great tubeless, and it rolls fairly good for an aggressive tire. The UST version is a bit heavy, but it's practically indestructible. The 2.35 is my choice up front with a 2.1 in the rear for improved pedaling. If you want even faster pedaling put a small block or slant six in the rear, a great combo. Love the Nevegal!!

Awesome set of tires
I got these tires to be used with a Stan's tubeless conversion kit for a trip to the Kokopelli trail from Fruita, CO to Moab, UT. I can't think of a better tire for the terrain. These tires were used mainly in sandy and rocky dry terrain, they did excellent. The grab was superb, the cornering was trustworthy and the tire's resistance against sharp rocks was excellent.Since my original purchase, I have purchased another set for when these need to be replaced.

Good all around tire for almost any condition
Tires are great, huge improvement in the ride on my old beat up specialized stumpjumper. Lightweight and have taken some big hits but keep on going. Sticks in the corners and grips hard on climbs and descents. I have had them in deep sand, wet leaves, over rough rooty sections, rock gardens and hard pack and performance is there in all conditions. Only complaint is the high rolling resistance but hey you cant have good grip without sacrificing in other areas.

Great tires!
These are the best tires I have ever ridden. They are wider than I'm used to. I used to ride 26 x2.1 these are 26 x 2.35. They are about the widest tire my frame will accommodate. They are squshy and grip very well. I am more confident on these. Glad I bought them, wish I had done it years ago.

These are not UST tires.
Descriptions claims this tire is a UST tubeless tires. Mounted theses on Maxxis LUST rims which always held air on previous LUST tires. Front tire will hold air for about 4 hours and rear tires holds air for only 1 hour. This is with sealant!Handling and grip is pretty good when correctly inflated.Been riding on these for 3 months now and always need to pump up during the ride. Yesterday I rolled the back tire with air lose on a technically section for the last time, today I'm buying real UST tires.
